on January 12, 1993(age 23) in Goyang,Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, is one of the main vocalists of EXO. D.O. has been singing since primary school and was an avid participant in local singing competitions throughout his high school career. In 2010, he was recommended to audition for S.M. Entertainment after winning at a local singing festival.He subsequently became an S.M. Entertainment trainee during his last two years of high school. He performed Na Yoon-kwon's "Anticipation" and Brown Eyed Soul's "My Story" at his S.M. audition.D.O. was formally introduced as the eighth member of EXO on January 30, 2012.Hisstage name is derived from his family name, Do. He sees Yoo Young-jin, S.M.'s music producer, as his role model.On July 29, 2013, he was featured inf(x)'s song "Goodbye Summer", a track from their album Pink Tape.D.O. made his film debut in the movie Cart. He became 2nd member from EXO to release his own solo OST "Crying Out" (외침) for the movie.In the same year, he also played the role of Han Kang Woo in the SBS' drama It's Okay, That's Love, starring Jo In-sung and Gong Hyo-jin as the lead actors.With his acting in the drama, D.O. was nominated for and won several awards as a new actor.In May 2015, SM confirmed that D.O. would take on his first lead role in a big screen piece, Pure Love, as a young man in love with a sick girl in a relationship of innocent love. He would also be starring in the movie Hyung together with Jo Jung-suk and Park Shin-hye. In January 2016, D.O is confirmed for the South Korean produced animation film The Underdog, which would be released in 2017.
