a little girl stares out the window dazed and confused about life. wasn't mothers supposed to love their children not harm them? why didn't her mother love her? Did she do something wrong to make her mother the person who gave birth to her hate her? But, surely a mother would not just hit a child slap her around, or just plain hate a child. Or would she?

*FLASHBACK*

A little girl covered in ash and cinder lays near a fire place she is only 12 years of age with beautiful blonde hair now turned brown from the cinder. as the little girl sleeps two children wonder in they are her sisters.  Jasmine and Ariel they are only 14 and 13 years of age. when they see the girl laying down in the cinder and ash asleep they scream for the mother. when the mother enters the room she screams bloody murder for she told the girl not to fall asleep. she calls Ella's name whilst kicking her in the head and stomach. when Ella awakes she is crying tears cover her face and hate fear consumes her heart. the mother yells at Ella asking why is she so stupid, why is she so pitiful. she hits her yells at her and stomps on her all in front of her sisters.

when the mother is done she tells Ella to clean up the blood and ashes on the floor. as Ella grabs a towel to clean up the mess a tear falls onto the ground and she looks up at the pair of feet in front of her she then meets the eyes of her sisters Ariel's eyes are filled with tears. for she thinks how Ella thinks. But Jasmine's eyes are filled with hate because she sees what her mother sees. she spits on the child on the floor and pull her hair. she calls her names then calls her Cinderella.  when the child looks down in shame the same place where the tear had fallen now reads the words. Cinderella

she stares at the word and all she feels in her heart is not pain is not sorrow she feels nothing because when you feel worthless you feel nothing.
