So many cosplay FAQs. So many. If I missed one in here that you would like me to add to this chapter and answer, comment your question below!

Q: How many wigs do you have?

A: ...currently? Eleven.

Q: Who are you going to cosplay as/already have cosplayed?

A: Holy shit this is a long list. Blake Belladonna (RWBY), Ciel Phantomhive (Black Butler), Death the Kid (Soul Eater), Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan), Weiss Schnee (RWBY), Cinder Fall (RWBY), Stealth Cinder Fall (RWBY), Tsubaki (Soul Eater), Neopolitan (RWBY), Crona (Soul Eater), Asuna Yuuki (Sword Art Online), Pokemon Trainer Serena (Pokemon), Queen Elsa (Frozen), Pyrrha Nikos (RWBY), Haruhi Fujioka (OHSHC), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Leader Valerie (Pokemon), Alois Trancy (Black Butler), Juvia Loxar (Fairy Tail), Bishamonten (Noragami), Glynda Goodwitch (RWBY), Yato (Noragami), Princess Yona (Yona of the Dawn), Kofuku (Noragami). And I'm sure I'll add more eventually.

Q: Where can I find your cosplay photos you take?

A: Check these three places, because I most often post my stuff here:

Q: What conventions do you go to?

A: Mostly local ones in my state, like Animazement, Cosplay America, Ichibancon, Triad Anime Convention, Aniwave...etc.

Q: Can we meet you at conventions?

A: I mean, if you guys plan on traveling to the state of North Carolina and go to a convention I'm specifically going to, I would love to meet up with you and freak out over cosplay and stuff! XD I'm sure there would be lots of hugs involved too. Just sayin'

Q: What's an anime convention like, and is it worth it to go?

A: Oh my god, I LIVE for these conventions, they are so much fun. Thousands of people go to a big rented out space like a convention center and/or a hotel in cosplay, and you all fangirl over everyone's costumes and take pictures and participate in photo shoots. There's a room more often than not called a dealer's room, where a bunch of independent sellers come and set up booths where they sell their stuff, and you can buy anime merch, candy, weapons, cosplay stuff, etc. I got a bunch of Japanese candy and two real samurai swords at a convention I went to last year. I almost got a couple wigs and dresses too. You walk around and meet new people, do some very entertaining people watching with the dorks doing silly stuff around you, and you have a blast in cosplay. There are things called panels where people gather for a specific anime and have cosplayers who are dressed as those characters do hilarious Q/A sessions, dares, etc. Anime conventions even have special events like Cosplay Chess, which is human chess basically with cosplayers who attend the convention. I've been a chess piece in cosplay chess before, and let me just tell you, it is SO MUCH FUN! Even if you're not on the board, it's super entertaining to watch a bunch of different anime characters harass and actually kill each other XD XD XD

Q: What do you use to make your prop weapons?

A: Well, if you're like me and you're cheap without access to any heavy duty power tools for cutting wood, I use: foam poster board, pink drywall spackle, a bunch of sand paper, spray paint, plasti dip spray, craft foam, EVA foam, misc add-ons like plastic gems and seashells, etc. If you've got money to spare and access to a workshop, I would use these for good quality weapons: wood, expanding foam, Apoxie sculpt, and anything I listed for the cheap method above.

Q: Do you have an etsy shop?

A: Yes: awkwardturtlecosplay.

Q: If I'm buying a cosplay costume, where are the best places to look?
