T'Luminareth woke up. She had been sleeping as she always does, laid on flat on her back with her arms folded across her chest. She tilted her head to the side to see a row of bunks, each occupied by a teenager. She proceeded to move her head back to where it was before. Knowing she could not go back to sleep, she stared up at the wooden panels of the bunk above her, thinking.

She was a very pretty girl, with bright green eyes and seemingly immaculate black hair, wearing what seemed to be day clothes. She seemed like anyone you might see anywhere, until you saw her ears. They were pointed, like an elf. T'Luminareth, if you did not assume already, was a Vulcan.

She knew she had a lot to think over, so she sighed and prepared to start thinking. The moment she closed her eyes the dead silence was broken by a nervous voice.

"I-I'm scared! I can't breaze!!! What eef-"

"Ivan, calm down, god dammit, or I'm gonna have to get you medication or something!"

"But Peter-"

T'Luminareth saw the shadow of a girl sitting up in her bunk.

"I need my beauty sleep... I'm too pretty for this!"

T'Luminareth flipped on the light switch to see everyone squint and Peter rolling his eyes at the girl. Peter, looking possibly 17, older than everyone else in the room, got out of his bunk and stood up. The pretty girl, Halara, was already looking at herself in an ornate mirror, and seeming far too pleased with what she saw. She was nice-looking as well, but she acted as if the universe revolved around her image. She smiled at herself and giggled, "Who are you?" Peter frowned and snatched the mirror from her hands. She looked up at him and stuck her tongue out in a rude way. He set it on a nearby table and walked over to where hyperventilating Ivan was sleeping. He as very good looking, but in this moment he seemed as terrified as a child. The boy on the bunk below him stretched and sat up quickly, hitting his head on a beam. He yelped, causing everyone but T'Luminareth to jump. Three more people sat up, startled by this sudden scream of pain.

The first was a short alien girl with black eyes as cold as stone. By her response alone you could tell she didn't talk much. The second was a fiery red headed young lady who seemed very annoyed at the fact that her precious rest had been disrupted. The third was a boy that T'Luminareth couldn't see, for he was in the bunk above her. She could hear him casually sitting up and she inferred that he was squinting at the lot of them confusedly. "What the heck is going on?" she heard him say in an arrogant voice.

"Oh nothing, just a little party," whispered Peter sarcastically as he rolled his eyes again.

"What do you think, Ivan is having a panic attach again."

"AGH, SHUT UP!" yelled the redheaded girl, Ailsa, in a very thick Scottish accent.

The whole room went silent for a moment.

"Oh god! I can't breaze! I can't breaze!"

Ivan gulped for air and grabbed his bedsheets.

T'Luminareth stood up, walked over to him and pinched his neck as if she did this every day. They all stared at her, taken aback, as he fell immediately onto his pillow, unconscious. He calmly strode back to her bed, laid down, and fell right to sleep.
