Promises Fulfilled

That Guy

“Please come back as soon as possible,

‘coz I’ll be waiting for you.”

“Yes, I will come back, I will come back for you and that is a promise that will never be broken”

“Really? But what if you’ll find someone new? Well, maybe someone better than me.”

“That will never happen Tin, ‘coz you’re my only one. No one can replace your place in here” he said while pointing his heart.

“Promise?” I said with my eyes twinkling

“Yes my princess Tina.” By that he kissed me on my forehead.

~~Going back to the corner where I first saw you,

Gonna camp in my sleeping bag, I’m not gonna move

Got some words on a card board, got your picture in my hand,

Saying “If you see this girl can you tell her where I am”~~

I am awakened by the sound of my alarm! Weird, a really weird dream. A dream that I’ve been dreaming always.

I dismissed my alarm and start to hurry ‘coz I have to prepare myself for school.

As soon as I finished preparing myself I climbed down the stairs.

“Bye ma, alis na po ako, mwah” I bid my mother farewell and kiss her.

“Pero anak hindi ka pa nakapag-almusal.”

“Sa school nalang po ma, late nap o kasi ako, bye”  I waved my hand and left.

As soon as I got off from the bus, I hurry myself and started to run. I am already in the hallway when I saw our teacher still sitting at the office and talking to someone. A guy, and a transferee perhaps.

“Yes, hindi pa ako late.” I whisper to myself and smile.

“Oh Tina, napa-aga ka ‘ata ah.”  Well, met my best friend Luisse

“Lagi naman akong maaga ah.” I blunted

“Ay nahiya naman ako sa’yo, eh ang meaning ata ng maaga mo eh late na para sa vocabulary ko.”

“Well, bessy we have our different point of view about that matter.” Maaga na kasi sakin na mauna ako sa teacher, lagi kasi akong late.

“PSH.., reasons..”

“Oh, andiyan na si ma’am Esmolo.” I shouted for my other classmates to hear and to behave as soon as possible.

“Good morning class.” She greeted us smiling.

“Good morning ma’am.” We responded.

“Class I have someone to introduce to you.”

“Psst, Luisse. Pustahan tayo. Transferee ‘yan. Nakita ko kasi si Ma’am kanina may kausap na guy.” I whisper to my bessy.

“Really bes,? New student, sana gwapo noh,, kakasawa  na kasi feces ng classmats natin.” She said with a low voice.

“ahahaha, Yeah, Yeah totally agree with you bes.”

“Class meet your new classmate, -------you can come in Mr. Smith.” Said Ms. Esmolo, inviting our new classmate to come in.

“Told yah, bes, transferee.” I said confidently
