Chapter 1: Last Day of School

Madison's POV

I groaned as I switched my alarm clock off, sitting up in my bed. I yawned as I rubbed my eyes, looking at the time. CRAP! I'm late for my last day of school! I got up quickly and grabbed some clothes, rushing to the bathroom to change. I quickly brushed my long brown hair, putting it up in a cute ponytail before applying light makeup. I'm not really a makeup kind of girl. I quickly slipped on my converse shoes, grabbed my phone and dashed out of my room.

As I went downstairs, I smelled something really good and smiled at my mom. "Morning mom." I said yawning again. "Morning sweetheart." She flipped another pancake and placed two on my plate before handing it to me. I smiled and dug in. After I finished I grabbed my car keys and yelled bye to my mom before getting into my car. After driving like a maniac to school, I hopped out and headed to my locker. I smiled when I saw my best friends Raven and Gabby. We hugged and we all talked about nothing in particular. I was excited for tomorrow, we are planning on moving into an apartment tomorrow.

Now onto what we all look like. I have long wavy brown hair and greed eyes, kinda like emeralds. Raven has midnight black hair and beautiful hazelnut eyes. Gabby had strawberry blond hair and really pretty ocean blue eyes. I love them like my family and have known them since I was little. As we were talking, some of the jocks that are really annoying started to snicker and I rolled my eyes. "Hey lets get to class guys!" I smiled and walked to my class. The day went by fast, considering... well school. Suddenly filled with energy, me and my two best friends rushed out of school as soon as the bell rang and jumped into my car, gigging like mad men. The song "Stressed Out by Twenty-One Pilots" came on and we began to shout the lyrics. "MY NAME'S BLURRY FACE AND I CARE WHAT YOU THINK!" We screamed and giggled when the song ended.

As we got back to my house, we got out and since I haven't finished packing yet we got started on that. Once we we're finished with that, we plopped on the bed and I stretched. "Well, what do you guys want to do now?" Gabby asked, crossing her arms plopping down onto the bean bag chair in my room. I shrugged. "Lets do something fun, wanna go to the beach?" Raven asked, putting her hair up into a ponytail. "Sure!" We smiled and I let them borrow some of my swimsuits. I put on a blue and black tankini, Gabby put on a pink and white tankini, and Raven put on a red and grey tankini. We fixed our hair and went downstairs. I shook my head at Raven as she blushed at something my brother said. You see, she has a big crush on him and he is completely oblivious to the fact.

"Hey Trevor, we're heading to the beach, and no you can not come." I said with a blunt facial expression. "Aw why not?" My brother AND Raven whined. "Because, alright fine, for Raven's sake.." A small smirk on my lips. "Great!" Trevor shouted and dialed on his cell phone. "What are you doing?!" I shouted. "Inviting some friends, duh.." I just rolled my eyes again and sighed. "Let's go guys." We got into my car, (my brother went in his own car) and drove to the beach.

-TIME SKIP, CAUSE CAR RIDES ARE BORING-

We all got out and dashed to the beach. We played around at the beach for a few minutes before my brother and his friends got there. Trevor and five other guys got out of his car, how they all fit? I have no idea. We continued playing around and they joined in. We found out that their names were Connor, Peter, Jake, Austin, and Kyle. I squealed as Jake threw me over his shoulder and headed towards the water. "HEY! PUT ME DOWN! UGH!" "Okay!" He laughed and dropped me in the water. Oh he is so going to get it!

Raven's POV

I watched and giggled as one of the guys, Jake, dropped Maddie into the water. I shook my head in amusement. 'Alright, time to make things more fun.' I thought as i got up, dusting the sand off my bathing suit. "Hey guys! Come over here!" I yelled, grabbing their attention. "Let's play a game!" "Okay, what kind?" "Truth or dare? Would you rather?" One of the guys suggested. "Truth or dare is a bit childish, but lets play." I smiled and we sat in a circle on the sand. "Okay, Trevor, truth or dare?" Gabby asked. "DARE!" He shouted and Maddie told him to shut up. "Okay... I dare you to get ask for a random person's number." He got up and went up to a random girl and I felt kind of jealous. She smiled and gave it to him, walking away. I got up and walked over to that girl. "Hey, he's mine. So don't get any ideas." I warned her. She just smirked at me and gave Trevor the 'call me sign'. I was about to do something, but shook my head and sat back down.

Maddie leaned over and whispered. "Hey, what was that about?" "Nothing." She gave me a 'really' look and I just shrugged. "Okay! I dare Maddie to put makeup on any of the guys!" She smiled triumphantly as Maddie smirked, getting up. She walked over to the car and got out a makeup bag. Don't even ask why she keeps makeup in her car. She walked over to Jake. "This is my sweet, sweet revenge." She smirked and put makeup on him, it being very messy on purpose. After that we had some more truths or dares before it started to get dark. "Hey, guys, its getting dark, lets go." Gabby said, getting up. We all groaned, (because we're all lazy.) and started to pack everything up. We said goodbye to the guys and Maddie's brother before hopping into her car.

"So that was fun. Did you guys find any interest in the guys?" Gabby laughed, starting a conversation. I shook my head. "I only have eyes for Trevor!" I said proudly. Maddie pretended vomit and gabby started to laugh, earning a glare from me. She put her hands up in surrender. "Ew, my brother? Of all people, my brother." She sighed, shaking her head. "Hey! A girl's gotta like who they gotta like." "Who even says that?" "Me! That's who!" It went deathly silent before we all busted out laughing. Maddie pulled into the driveway of her house and yawned. "You guys sleeping over?" "Yep!" Me and Gabby said in unison. We got out and went into the house. Our feet immediately walked to the kitchen. "Whatcha got, food wise?" Gabby asked, tapping her fingers together like Shakespeare. Maddie just shook her head at her and replied. "We are ordering pizza!" I smiled, nodding in agreement.

Gabby's POV

I grabbed the phone the ordered the pizza while Maddie and Raven got the other food, like chips, candy and soda ready. The pizza got here 10 minutes later and Maddie tipped him, before walking back with 2 boxes of pizza. We made a fort and placed the food down before turning on the Second movie of Avengers. It is out favorite movie. After it ended and we ate all the food. "Hey guys, you tired?" Raven yawned, getting up. "Yeah, lets head to bed." We nodded in agreement and went up to her room. We set up our sleeping bags and got ready for bed.

We got settled into bed before switching out the lights. "Goodnight guys." "Goodnight." I yawned again and laid my head on my pillow before closing my eyes. My thoughts went to what happened today. We went to the beach, met Maddie's brother's friends, and then had fun at the beach. Now to think of it, that Conner guy was really cute, with the hazelnut brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. He was fit, but not too fit to where it was disgusting. I stretched out on my sleeping bag, shaking away my thoughts of the handsome boy. That was the last of my thoughts before I wandered off into a dreamless sleep.
