Hailey
"..and her addiction to Chipotle, terrifies me, I swear, God knows how her model material still remains" I jokingly informed Harry about Lily's likings.
He chuckled.
Talking with Harry in this lavished place made me feel special. Wanted. Prominent. He was such a welcoming and benevolent person, no wonder he was so charismatic towards so many people.
I knew his background before, him being high in wealth, a positive reputation and all that. But I was incredulous to believe that a wealthy person like him, could have a pleasant, endearing personality.
I acknowledged that Lily liked him too, I had to endure her speaking about her experiences with Harry previously and felt slightly envious but hey, she's my best friend and I could never betray or manipulate her like that.
"Haha, Hailey you're hilarious-"
"How is like it working as a Dior CEO and all that? Do you like it or..." I interrupted him, not intentionally, but to perpetuate the conversation.
"It's alright I guess, it can get slightly annoying when females tend to flirt with me all the time and when I'm at work, but overall I love my job. Where do you work? "
Oh God. I hate personal questions like this, why do people feel the need to know about my personal life. It's only Harry though, he seems genuinely esteemed towards me.
"Target. I- "
"I love Target! However, it is difficult for me to shop their on a normal day to to me being recognised by several people. "
In the corner of my eye, I saw Lily walking towards me, she was kind of 'model strutting' which was a bit odd, but I guess her intention was to impress Harry. Desperate.
"Heeeeey girly, how did the interview go?" I asked.
"Lol why are you in a happy mood?" She winked at me, then looking at Harry.
"Harry and I" I placed my right arm around Harry's neck and smiled, " were just discussing your addiction to food and how you never fatten"
She immediately hit my left arm due to her embarrassment of her addiction.
Harry Styles (a/n: I don't usually switch POV's on the same chapter, but this 1 time xxx )
Lily and Hailey seemed very playful towards each other. I wish I had a friend or girlfriend to cheer me up like that unexpectedly, but it's obvious that the girls who flirt with me ONLY want money and a reputation, not me.
I kinda felt left out so me being a gentlemen, I was deciding on weather to ask to take them out for dinner or not. Would it be nice if I asked them for dinner? Or would I present myself as a player?
Fuck it.
"Do you girls want to grab dinner after I've finished organising some files?"
"Um yeah sure" Hailey casually replied.
"That's great, I just thought it would be the most respectful thing to do."
Lily seemed jovial when I looked at her, smiling so much you could see the 3 or 4 creases between the corner of her mouth and her cheek.
I smiled back.
"I'll just get back to work and see you all in around twenty minutes. Chou!"
