Hi guys. So it's been awhile since I have posted anything, quite frankly it has been awhile since I have written anything so I appologize if I am a bit rusty. Here is my most recent poem, I hope you enjoy. Please let me know what you think. Comments and votes are always appreciated! ~Grace
I hope you are happy
in everything you set out to do;
that the sky gives you sunshine
amidst a soft, blue hue.
I pray that your dreams
are all within your grasp
and I want you to meet another
that will make your breathe gasp.
We had our time together
and now its best to leave it in the past.
These old ties must be broken
because some things are not meant to last.
You and I have reached an end,
or perhaps it's a beginning?
It was so abrupt its hard to tell
with my head it still spinning.
No, I’m sure its for the best,
though how I know is a mystery.
What I do know is that you will always be
a cherished part of my history.
