The Childish Flirt

Irene's POV

"Hey, Irene."
Jimin spoke.

We all widened our eyes as Jimin looks at me.

I looked up and saw Jimin.

"Jimin?!!!"

Huuuuh!!!*gasp*

J-jimin?!!

W-wait. So you mean, a while ago, Taehyung's cousin is... Jimin?!!

Figures!!! I mean how would they know each other a while ago at the bar?

I see it!!

How stupid am I??!!

"O-ohw Hi Jimin... I-I... I didn't think you'd still remember m-me. Hehehe"
I laugh nervously.

H-how could he still remember me anyway?? I mean even Taehyung who is sober didn't even recognize me with glasses or not.
Or is Taehyung just stupid?
Anyway.

"Wait wait bitches!!! I'm so fuckin' confused, Bullshit!"
Taehyung snapped.

We laugh at how childish he is right now.

His eyes were widened and hands scratching his head.

"You see Tae, the one at the ba—"

"Bench!!! Yes!! W-we met at the park!! Uh— w-we uh...."
I cut Jimin. I don't want Taehyung to know. And I know I suck at making lies.

"B-but we didn't—"
Jimin tilted his head, confused.

"OH YES WE DID! comeonandjustsayyesyoufaggot!"
I half-whispered with gritted teeth.

Everyone looks at me and I just fakely smiled.

Busted.

"Anyway, since you two knew each other, it'll be easier. So why don't we all grab some snacks."
Jungkook cuts in.

Omg jungkook!! Thank you so much for saving me!!!

They nodded and I'm glad Taehyung just shrug the idea of asking more.

"Thanks."
I mouthed to Jungkook and he slightly smiled bitterly.

I wonder what's wrong to Jungkook?? I missed his usual side... He must have something bothering him.

We went towards the cafeteria and grabbed some snacks.

Jungkook went to the sandwich area and I followed him.

I stand beside him.
"Jungkookie... do you have something bothering you? You look kinda off today.."
I worriedly said.

He turned to me and smiled.

A smile that makes you wanna comfort him.

"Nothing. I'm pretty normal, see??"
He said as he bunny-smiled.

It's the same smile he showed to me before but it lacks something.

The warmth.

I just smiled back at him.

Maybe he's not just comfortable or ready telling it to me.

I just shrug the idea of presurring him to ask what's wrong and I decided to pick some sandwich with ham&cheese. I pointed it and payed at the cashier.
She handed me the sandwich and I received it.
