SUMMER

Dancing along the beach with me,

Skipping over the waves of the peaceful sea,

Building a friendly sand castle in the sand,

Whilst holding a tasty ice-cream in my hand.

Original poem by: Holly Fay Wort (me) and Bryony Scutt

PEACEFUL DAYS

Beautiful trees standing tall and strong,

Daisies dancing till the day is done,

Wind blowing for hours that are long,

Heaps of leaves formed as one.

Sheep filling their tummies with fresh grass,

Farmers working till the sun goes down,

Loads of tractors tooting pass,

Just the country side with no big towns.

These are the days I love the most,

The times I treasure,

On the hills staring at the coast,

Beautiful days that bring me pleasure,

Just warm early mornings with a nice piece of toast.

Original poem by: Holly Fay Wort (me)
