The heavy metal door opened revealing Jacob, the security guard of our section of this place. Hall 8B, for the people who tried to kill themselves.
The asylum is sectioned off into two parts. People who tried to kill themselves is hall 8B. People who tried to harm others is in 7C. They try to keep us away from people who harmed others. They keep them in a cell by themselves so they don't try anything.
"Lunch time. Come on get up" We listened and stood up turning around. Like usual he handcuffed us and led the way down the corridor.
Once there I got released then went to get my lunch which consisted of an apple and a chicken sandwich. I went to sit in my regular spot in the far corner isolated away from everyone else.
The door opened catching my attention, in walked the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.
Jace, one of the security guards was holding her cuffed hands behind her back. They walked over to the nurses on the other side of then room.
She looked around seeming bored with the conversation. I watched her every move captivated by her essence.
Jacob came interrupting my assured thoughts.
"Come on lunch is over." I stood up leaving my untouched tray.
I turned around letting him cuff me, he walked me to my room.Michael takes his shower right now, so I have about twenty minutes till he gets back. Getting down on the floor I grabbed my blue and pink chalk before crawling underneath my bed.
The floor was cement and the janitors never cleaned the rooms, so I used that to my advantage.
About two years ago I thought up a plan, now I'm putting it into action. I mapped out the building using the chalk creating a 3D model of the place. I heard nurse Julie and nurse Sam say that in room 212 was pieces of wood loose from the floor. Underneath that was an old mine tunnel that's leads out to a field about two miles out. If I can get there and out of the mine I could be free. I could start over.
I figured out I could get to room 212 faster going down hall H2 then 4D. So that's what I'm going to do. By this time next week I'll be set. Hello freedom. Goodbye isolation.
