' I'm sorry sir, we have done all we can, there is nothing on this whole entire earth that could cure your son's eye cancer'

'BUT THERE MUST BE!' shouts my dad

'I'm sorry Mr Lutton, but there is nothing we can do'

' Yeah Yeah Yeah... i bet all you doctors say that.. just to get a bit of tension in this then BOOM.. there's a cure' my dad says ignorantly.

'Mr Lutton we are absolutly positive there is no cure. Eye cancer can be different to other cancers. Some cancer's can be cured or provented but...'

'BUT!?!' shouts my angry father

'It was too late to be cured Mr Lutton... Ryan's cancer had spread.'

'I DONT BELIEVE THIS! You are not being fair! Stop toying with my emotions. I know there is a cure but you are just not sure about it, so you are telling me there isn't just incase there really is no cure, but if there is... well im pretty sure Doctor Kent... I WILL BE SUING YOU STRAIGHT AWAY!'

'I understand that you are angry sir but when we say something we mean it, this is no job for jokes'

Suddenly there was an awkward silence.

I was lying in the hospital bed, rapped with uncomfortable blankets and quilts. My dad stared at me. Looking from my face to the awkward position i was lying in.

I was glaring at him. With an unforgiving face.

'I suppose your right Doctor Kent. I'm sorry. It is just so hard to take this all in'

'Yes, we understand sir. It's our job to keep you safe and happy but it is not out job to magically create cure's and bring the world to peace, but all i can say is that we tried and we know how much ryan means to you' Says Doctor Kent with a sort of a forgivness sigh

'And i thank you Doctor' says my dad slowly turning his head towards me again.

Doctor Kent noded his head and continued down the corridor.

I glared at dad. With a sort of annoyed slash 'dad you have to mess everything up and annoy everyone that is around you, including your son that is dying' look.

'What is wrong son?'

'You know whats wrong dad! Every time a doctor has some new's to tell us, which in this case is all bad, all you do is flip out! You think it's hard dad? IM THE ONE DYING HERE!'

Dad turned around and stared down the corridor.

'Son i understand your angry.. but...'

'ANGRY..?? ANGRY..?? IM MORE THAN ANGRY! I'M MORTIFIED THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO RUIN THE RELATIONSHIP I HAVE BETWEEN THE DOCTORS!'

My dad was obviously not interested about what i thought and replied with.. 'I'm going to get coffee.. want anything?'

I ignored him and grabbed my laptop of the bedside table and said loud and clearly to make sure my voice recognition was sure to hear me, 'Eye Cancer' , making sure that my posh lady voice was ready to read out what my mouse ran over

I was told not to research it because it would worry me, but i never listen to my parents as they dont listen to me.

The first web adress that appeared was what i clicked on. There were so many words i had never heard of before let alone knowing what they mean.

Benign, Basal Cell Carcinoma, Malignant and Ciliary Body.

All i knew was that they related to Eye Cancer.
