Mingyu POV

I hand him my pay for the month, scared.

"5, 10, 15, 20," he looks up at me with an eyebrow raise.

He flicks the money and counts again. I gulp. "5, 10, 15, 20" I stand back, grabbing the grasps of the wall.

"Yah! Where's the other £30?!" He says threatening to hit me. I shield myself with my hands, shivering.

"I - I - don't know!" I lie, reviewing a massive whack as soon I said that.
"Uncle! Please! Please don't! " I scream as he drags me by the neck and throws me in the cellar.

I'm locked there.

No food.

No drink.

Flashback

"That would be £30 " the receptionist informed me. What?!

"This is the hospital bill form so just sign here and then she'll be able to take some medicines away and also some extra casts,"

I reach for my envelope which I had gotten as my pay for the month.

Ugh what should I do?

I'll get beat up if he finds out....

Halla POV

Mingyu. Where did he go?? I had already called the uni to say I couldn't make it to their class because I was in hospital. I begin my way to the hospital bill section, only to find out it has already been paid.

"Excuse me, can I find out who paid my bills? My name is Lee Halla"

The lady begins scanning the draw and finds a form, "kim mingyu paid it ,"

My phone starts ringing and I notice 17 missed calls - Kookie💩👵💩

"Yuboseyo?" I answer

"Halla where are you, why have amd u answered my calls, why haven't u replied my texts, and WHY HAVEN'T U ATTENDED" CLASS?!" And the flood of questions reel in.

I breathe in and say, "mianhae, I'm in the hospital and sprained my ankle," I say honestly, knowing I can't hide my limping leg from him anyway,

"Wait there I'll come collect you,"

Jungkook POV

"I'll come collect you"

How Did she sprain her ankle? I know she must be tired so ill so ill call her later. I get changed quickly from my life guard outfit into a white baggy top and black jeans.

I hop into my car and start driving, Halla nust be hungry, knowing her shed still be hungry after a 3 course meal. I park next to this ahjummas food stall, "ahjumma, can I get some ddukbokki? And also some fish cakes? "
In 5 minutes she is done and hands me the food and I give her the money, "ahjumma keep the change,"

I head back to the car and drive to the hospital where halla is outside limping. She is trying to walk to the car pack but seriously failing. I park the car on the side and run to her,

"Oh, kook ah you're here?"

I know she's tired and probably wanting to just sleep and cuddle.

Halla POV

"Oh kook ah, you're here?" I say surprised he came literally to me insteaf of the car park.

He moves to stand in front of me and then kneels down, patting his back. "Hop on" he says.

He gives me a piggy back ride to the car and seats me into the front seat, putting my seat belt in front for me. I'm expecting the series of questions soon....

BAAMMM , the questions have begun-

"Are you okay? Where were you when you fell, how did you fall? how did you get into the hospital? why didn't u check your phone? Is the hospital bill sorted? if not ill go pay, how bad is it? do u need crutches? Are u hungry? I bought some food."

Damn. I knew he could rap.

"I'm okay, I fell outside the convenience store, I fell cos I wasn't looking where I was walking, the guy at the store took me to the hospital, my phone was in my bag, the guy from the store paid my bills, that means you don't need to pay, it's not that bad but I just need help for the next 10 days, I don't need crutches, yes I'm hungry and wait, food?" I said food with my eyes gleaming up.
"What type of food"

Jungkook laughs and answers "dukkbokki and fish cakes"

Yesssss yesssssss yesssssszzzsssssss. Thank you Lord for making such good food in my life.

He begins driving and I put my hand on his hand which is on the steering crutch. "Oppa, "

Jungkook POV

"Oppa. Kumawo. Mianhae. Nan I Gwaenchana. I'm aright" she says in English 😂

" it's 'I'm aLright pabo"

We've arrived at my flat and I piggy back her out, she laughs so nerdy like and reaches for a kiss on my cheek. When we are inside i flop down on my bed, Halla still kn My back.

Hehe lol she is back hugging me

"Aaàaaah, ur back is so nice and muscly," she says resting her hand on my back shoulders. I can just sense her cheesy smile digging .

I turn around quickly but gently, knowing her ankle is hurt. We are now inches away from each others faces. When we were young my heart used to beat like crazy when we stood next to each, now knowing we are this close, literally and metaphorically, I feel just so glad to have someone like her with me.

"I think this is nicer," I say as I close my eyes. I then point to my cheeks as a gesture for her to kiss me there.

I feel a peck on my left cheek. A second later one on my right. I open my eyes and smile, "two?"

She's kisses me on the forehead now, "three"

I peck a kiss onto her lips, "four"

"Five"

"Six"

....

"24"

She start pecking my face madly and I laugh because it's really ticklish.

We fall in deep sleep until I am awoken with her hugging me~~~
