chapter 1 schools out
"well class its that time of year, time for summer break and time that i say goodbye to all of the seniors oh this is such a sad day for me." my teacher Mrs. Ploomer started to tear up she did this every year it wasnt a suprise. RING "have a good summer everyone, oh skye, abby i need to talk to you." i rolled my eyes and walked up to Mrs. Ploomer along with my best friend abby. "yes?" she smiled at us and gave us each an envolope. "this is a little graduation present for you two, both of you had fenominal grades all A's except abby why did you get a D- in gym?" " i refuse to wear those things they call gym clothes." she shrugged and we all laughed its funny that she got a d- in gym abby is one of the most athletic girls in this whole school next to me. she plays basketball, softball, she was a cheerleader and was even on the boys football team but we both know she wasnt just on the team to play football it was more of her playing with the football players. i on the other hand did other sports like gymnastics, dance, horseback riding, rock climbing, swimming, ice skating and motor cross. that last one always catches people off guard and then they look at me i dont see the problem in it, my brother and i are actually (secretly) motorcross champs people call us fire and ice. but like the saying looks can be deceiving. i have wavy long black hair that stops a little above my elbows. deep saphire blue eyes, im skinny and curved in all the right places. i dont look like the sporty type. abby on the other hand looks exactly like an athlete she has shoulder length dirty blonde hair bright green eyes and shes a little chubbier than me but its not by much she is well curved too. " hey skye are you and Shane coming to the party tonight." Shane is my twin brother same hair color only his is short and spiked, he has blue eyes too but not as deep as mine and he is a player where i am not."you know we will be if its a party that has alcohol and hot girls you know that Shane will be there and ill have to come to be the designated driver." abby and i rolled our eyes and laughed as we walked out the the parking lot to my silver mustang convertable. "ill be over at 5 to help you get ready ok." i nodded and watched her walk away to her yellow bug. a guy walked by her and she turned to watch him walk away and then turned to me winking a giving me a thumbs up thats her way of saying. ' i am so going to do him pleasure tonight' i laughed and went home. As i walked in the door my mom was in the kitchen pulling her to die for sugar cookies out of the oven. "hey mo...." i was cut off by two sets of feet pounding down the stairs moments later shane and my little brother Blaine came into the kitchen. Blaine is nothing like me and Shane hes got my dads blonde hair and brown eyes. hes only 4 too. Blaine skipped over to my mom and put on his puppy dog face. " momma can i have some cookies Paaaaaaalease." my mom smiled and laughed at his attempted begging. " after dinner honey ok?" he nodded and sulked out of the room. " Shane that goes for you too."i turned to see my brother trying to sneak some cookies how she saw him doing that when her back was turned i have no idea." i laughed and shane stuck his toungue out at me. " oh wow shane real mature." i rolled my eyes and walked up to the cookie tray and plopped one in my mouth and walked out the door as i was walking up the stairs i heard Shane complaining to my mom. " why do you let her get away with it!" " because she didnt get a D in Calculus." i laughed as i went upstairs i walked into my little brothers room to see him on the floor drawing a picture of a cookie with a sad face. " hey bud what are you doing?" he looked at me and did a little sniffle. " im trying to make this cookie turn into one of mommas serga cookies." i laughed as he said sugar the wrong way. i pretended to think. " ok blaine i want you to close your eyes and imagine one of mommas cookies pop up on your drawing." he did as i told him and i quickly placed a second cookie i had secretly taken on his paper. " ok open your eyes," he opened his eyes and looked down and the look on his face was like he had just seen god he was so amazed. " im gonna do this every night skye!" i laughed as he hugged me, then the doorbell rang and blaine shot out of the room screaming. " ABBYS HERE!!!" how he knew it was abby ill never know.
