Till this day, I still think about her. I think about the way she crinkled her nose when she laughed. Or when he lip poked out when she was angry with me. I think about the day that I first saw her; in the window at the coffee shop on the corner of 5th ave. Her hair was in a messy bun on top of her head, a yellow scarf around her neck as she leaned over and blew into her hot coffee mug in an attempt to cool it down. Oh, how I miss her, wondering if she missed me too. But, I knew that we could never be together. The stakes were high, my life too dangerous for someone like her.
