*16 Years before present day*

"Alezander!" Reyna called from their room, "Where did ya go?"

Little Alexander giggled from where he sat, remaining hidden from his sisters.

Longest game of hide and seek ever. Reyna had found Ember in the library, and the two were running around the castle in search of the mischievous boy.

"Me and Reena give up!" Ember shouted.

Alexander chuckled, and sprinted to the two girls, "I win!"

"Sure..." Reyna complained a bit.

"Come on Alezander..." Ember groaned, "It's our turn to win!"

"Now children," the queen cooed, "All three of you can have victory. Never forget that. Especially you, Alexander."

"You're going to be king one day, "a maid chimed in, "You don't want to ruin that."

"But I wanna be queen...." Ember mumbled softly. Reyna nodded to her statement.

Their father lets a small laugh slip as he kneels down next to Ember, "You can be, little one. All three of you will get to rule somewhere. You'll get your turn," he smiled genuinely.

Reyna and Ember beamed, "Yay!" they cheered.

King Alexander ll stood up, and walked back to his wife, "Do you believe they could successfully rule a kingdom? Later on in life, that is."

"Sure," Queen Seraphina replied, "They're descendants of you," with that, the couple walked away.

The toddlers, however, were in their own worlds.

Ember, with a mini scepter in her grasp, trying to mimic a true queen's coronation.

Reyna, with a plastic crown on her head, making queen's orders.

Alexander, who had found a red cloak, and wore it with a genuine king's pride.

The siblings stood by each other, royalty in mind.

"We can rule togedder!" Ember stated.

Reyna's eyes lit up in wonder, "And we will fowever be a team!"

Alexander smiled, "Pwomise?" he questioned.

"Always," Reyna and Ember answered.
