Rosey walked around the small playground in her backyard and waited for Chase. The sun was setting and Chase was late. "Where are you!" Rosey yelled at the little boys window. Chase opened the curtains and ran down the stairs. "Where have you been?" Rosey asked. Chase shrugged. Being 4 years old was tough for Chase. He was in preschool and so was Rosey. He had to remember what to do and everything. "I'm sorry Rosey. I was busy. I was just finishing the coloring page the teacher sent home with us." Chase said. He was so innocent so easy going. "Ok! Chase, guess what my mama got me!" Rosey said as she started to climb the rope ladder to the monkey bars. "What'd she get you Rosey? I bet it's a doll right?" Chase said. Rosey slipped off the monkey bars and fell into the grass. "She got me a brand new car!" She said pointing to a pink Barbie jeep for kids. "That's awesome! Can we ride in it?" Chase said. He was so happy. "Sure we can!" Rosey said while giggling. "I call shotgun!" Chase yelled as he got in the car. Rosey got in the drivers seat and they rode around the backyard, happy as could be.
