Chapter 10: Complications

I woke up the next morning feeling alive, last night was amazing. I had so much fun with Niall, he brought a smile to my face. I has just missed being in his presence so much, it was like he had completely refreshed my mind, like we were the only people in the world and we were so happy.

He probably just wanted to make up for what he did to me but I thought it was kind of cute the way he acted with me. Yeah, sure he cheated on me all this years ago but I was willing to forgive him. When we were out last night, it was like all our bad history went away and it was all brand new.

He really brought a genuine smile to my face which I hasn't seen in a long time.

Right now I was still in my hotel in London, me and Hayley had been here quite some time. I had gotten calls from home but I chose to ignore them because I didn't want to be disheartened by my mother by telling me I was some sort of a useless child.

"Chloe ?" Hayley said coming out of her bedroom.

"Yeah hayls?"

" I need to ask you something and please will you give me an honest answer because you know, you're the only one I can really talk to about things like these."

I could tell she wanted to talk to me about something really important. Hayley isn't the type of person to really open up to people unless she knows she cam trust them, like me.

" Oh yeah, I know. You can trust me." I told her reassuringly.

"Well...you know how me and Harry have been going out on dates and they've been going really well so far?"

" Yeah. You've been so happy lately, it's good to see you happy Hayls, it makes me happy" I said with a smile.

" Aww, well I'm glad it has...anyways..basically on our last date; he walked me here, like right to the door and he kissed me on the lips. Now I have never had much experience in that area so I attempted to kiss back."

" Omg! You kissed him? That's great! Isn't it?" I asked kind of confused.

"Yeah it is I suppose, to be honest I don't know, but the kiss got heated up like, a lot until it got to the point where my legs were straddling his waist and my hands were in his hair."

At this point she was looking down at the floor. I could tell this was hard for her so I reassuringly rubbed her back.

"Hey, sshh..it's okay. You can tell me"

"Yeah I know..okay, so basically after that I took his head in my hands and pulled him off of my lips. I could tell in his eyes he looked hurt but I said to him ' Harry look, you're an amazing guy and all but I'm not ready for that yet' He looked at me and put me down on the floor. Now what he did here was probably the worst thing that could ever happen to me. So please don't have a fit when I tell you"

This must be something like really important so whatever it is and hopefully it isn't something awful, I'm going to have to be a supportive friend.

" I promise I won't" I said

" Okay, well during the whole make-out session, Harry must have dropped his phone because I accidentally stood on it but only enough for me to notice it was there. So I went down to pick it up but then it started ringing. The caller ID said ' Caroline <3' I asked him ' who's this harry?!' He grabbed the phone off me and said ' Omg Hayley, she's no one honestly! I swear down on my life! She doesn't mean anything to me! Management said I had to go out with her for the publicity! I don't like her in that way at all!"

I just sat there in silence, this must have just been the worst for her.

" by this point I was unlocking the door because you were out on your date with Niall so atleast I would have some time to think. I said to Harry ' Harry, you can call me when you're done with your little publicity slag but for now, leave me alone until I can see actual proof that you're not together. Bye Harry' And then I went into the hotel room and shut the door"
