           Josh was on his way back to Jennifer's LA home from the two different meetings he had to sit through this morning. He had woken up next to Jen in her home around 7:30 this morning, he quickly changed into something more appropriate for the meeting. He quickly cut up some fruit for himself and poured a cup of coffee, he quickly ran up the stairs and into the guest room that Jen had basically turned into a nursery for baby Emery. He slightly pushed open the door and saw that his ten month old was still sleeping peacefully in her crib with her baby blanket that she was attacked since she was four months old. Josh walked over to the crib leaning over it and grabbing the baby blanket between his fingers, it truly was one of the softest blankets ever. Jennifer had bought the blanket for Emery three weeks after de had first been introduced to one another, and Emery well it hasn't left her side since then. It's a pale pink with gold and white polka dots on it. After laying the blanket back down, he leaned completely over the crib and gently kissed her cheek "I'll see you soon, Monkey. I love you." Josh then exited Emery's nursery and back downstairs into the kitchen Grabbing a piece of notebook paper and quickly scribbling a note for Jen. "Good Morning Hun, I hope you slept well last night because I know I did. I had to leave this morning to go to a couple of meetings for my up coming movie. I'll hopefully be back by noon, don't get you and Emmy into trouble today... Just kidding have a blast. I love you, Josh." After finishing the note he ripped it out of the notebook and put it on the refrigerator with a magnet keeping it connected, he figured Jen would never see it if it was still in the notebook. She's always hungry though so why not leave it on the refrigerator.

Josh noticed the clock on the oven read 8:05 he had to be at the meeting by 8:45 so if he didn't take off now he would never make it, especially with the Morning traffic in LA. He quickly finished his coffee before grabbing his wallet and car keys before racing out the front door, shutting it quietly so neither of the girls would wake up.

Jennifer woke up to the sound of giggles and baby talk coming through the baby monitor, smiling she turned over onto her side expecting to find her boyfriend still sound asleep but he wasn't there. She quickly got out of her bed and used the bathroom quickly before throwing one of Josh's old ripped up t shirts and a pair of short shorts since it was September in La. She walked out of her bedroom and down the hall opening up the door into Emery's nursery to find her with her laying the in her crib trying to put her foot in her mouth. Jen walked over to the crib and smiled down at Emery who reached for her as soon as she saw her. "Good morning, Monkey." Jen was answered back with a bunch of coos and of course her favorite word "Dada?" Jen laughed shaking her head "I don't know where Dada went to Monkey." Emery looked a little confused before smiling and putting her hands on Jens face "Dada! Dada!" Jen laughed again "No Monkey! I'm Jen." Emery giggled and leaning up against Jens chest and cuddling as close as possible. Jen smiled kissing the crown of Emery's head rocking her in her arms while they walked downstairs and into the kitchen. She walked over to the refrigerator to grab some apple juice for Emery to sip on noticing a note that wasn't there last night. She pulled the note off of the refrigerator and began reading it laughing as she read it "Well Emmy I think I know where your daddy ran off to." Jen said looking at the baby in her arms sucking on her thumb "Dada?" Jen nodded yes giggling "Yes, I think your daddy is sitting in meetings right now for the new movie he's about to start." Emery smiled up at Jen grabbing at her hair a rubbing it between her fingers for some comfort. It's something she has done since before she could talk, it would eventually put her to sleep but Jen would let it happen then again they just woke up so that isn't happening. "Okay Monkey, how about some pancakes and some fruit for breakfast?" Jen asked walking towards to the area in the kitchen where Emery's highchair was sitting, Jen quickly sat Emery down in it and latching the table part back into place on the highchair. She quickly ran into the living room finding Emery some toys to play with, she grabbed Emery's Minnie Mouse stuffed doll and some teething rings. Emery couldn't see Jen so she started to cry just as Jennifer entered the kitchen again "Emmy don't cry I'm right here." Jen said kissing the baby's forehead before handing her the toys she grabbed in the living room that now had become baby proof. After Jen gave Emery the toys she stopped crying and began playing ,banging everything on the table part of the highchair. Jen found some pancake mix and began making pancakes while talking with Emery who would just smile and giggle back, trying to answer Jen back.
