Welcome to my very twisted life :)
I am just like any other normal 19 (nearly 20) year old British girl, the only difference is that I suffer from depression, anxiety and am a tad bit crazy. I've tried speaking to people, seeking advice but nothing works so I have decided to let out everything, maybe this will help me embrace all the shitty moments I have been through. Feel free to close this and get on with your life whenever you want :)

Let's talk about depression! There are a lot of people that treat depression like it's nothing, they make jokes about it and when someone is just feeling low or isn't up to anything they call that person 'depressing'. In some cases it could be something to laugh at but in reality, it is not something that should be used for jokes. If a person knows what it feels like to be really depressed, they would think twice before making 'depressing' jokes.

To me, depression is having so much! it's when you have so many things anyone would be so happy to have but not being able to be happy. It's that dark cold feeling that just sits in you and it can just explode unexpectedly. You could be out having the time of your life, laughing with your friends then once you go home, all the thoughts you blocked out when you were with your friends race in all in one go. You feel there's no way for you to block the thoughts and you just want to isolate yourself from everyone and everything. No one will make it better and you just want everything to end, you don't quite know what it is but you want it to go and you want to feel better. You don't want to feel like this but the only thing you would feel like you can do is be alone with all the thoughts and that just worsens it but there aren't many options. You feel like you're just a lifeless body floating around.

It's not always like that. There are moments where you think you have a chance of going somewhere in life, you find hope but that soon fades away. No matter how hard you try to fight the thoughts; the darkness, it always finds a way to break you. You think no one will understand but really, there's so many people like us, so many people that have overcome what we have now. If they can do it, so can we!

Thank you for having a read! Please feel free to comment below. The main purpose for this was to see if there is anyone out there going through depression like me and if so, I would like to know (if you don't mind) what helps you? Please let me know what you think of this and if I should continue! And if there are any improvements I need to make.
Once again, thank you very much :)
