The Crush

One day, I woke up and ran to the computer. I logged on, and started to video chat with my best friend. Her name is Allison Norton, she's 16, and she has an 8 year old brother.

Oh, I almost forgot to introduce myself, hello I'm Maddison Ranae Sanford. I'm also 16 and I have one brother, he doesn't live here with me. Although, Allison and I have been best friends since we could walk! I know amazing huh?

"Maddie". My mom called. "Yeah mom?" "I need help bringing the groceries in." "Okay I'll be right there, Ally I'll call you later". I said. "Okay bye." She said.

As soon as I got downstairs and to the car. I looked and thought "HOLY FOOD"! When my.mom goes to the store, she kind of gets carried away.

*few hours later*

"Maddison!" When my mom calls me that I know its important.
"Yeah?". I asked.
"Your father and I have something to tell you". My mom said.
"Is everything okay?" "Are you guys okay?!" I asked worried.
"We're fine, it's just that I'm pregnant." She said.
"Mom that's wonderful news. Although, how many weeks?"
"I'm about 6 weeks." She said happily.
"Wow! Mom one question, can Ally come over? I asked.
"Sure". Both of my parents said.

I rushed upstairs, and started to video chat with Ally. After I told her about my mom being pregnant, I told her that its okay for her to come over. When her and I got done talking, my parents and I headed to go get Ally.

When we arrived at her house, she got in the car. My mom asked us what do we want for dinner, we both said Subway. As soon as we got there, we didn't have to wait long. After we got what we wanted, we sat down and ate.

"Maddie, did you hear about this new kid?" Ally asked.
"Yeah, isn't his name Jack? I asked.
"I think so, but anyways I think he might be moving into the same neighborhood as you." She said.
"You're kidding right?" I asked.
"No, why would I kid about that?" She asked confused.
"I don't know, but a cute guy living in the same neighborhood as me! I said.
"Haha, I know. Well, at least you got a chance.
"No!". I said.
"Why not?" She asked confused.
"Because my parents, they'll embarrassed me in front of him!" I said."
"Oh." Ally said.
"You girls ready?" Mom asked.
"Yeah." Both of us said.
"Where's dad?" I asked.
"In the car". She said.
"Okay."

Once we got back to the house, Ally went up to my room. I grabbed some snacks, and made popcorn. Her and I both watch the show called "Friends".

When it was around 1am, we fell asleep. My mom came in to check on us, she turned the TV off and the lamp.

The next day my mom woke us up. When Ally and I got downstairs, there was French toast, eggs, and bacon.

"Thanks mom" Ally and I said.
"You're welcome." She replied.

After when we were done eating, we got dressed and went on a bike ride in the woods. There are trails hough, but so many spider webs! Her and I always ride for about two hours.

As soon as we headed back, we saw a moving truck. What if it's Jack? No, it can't. Well- I don't know.

So Ally and I go home, and grabbed something to eat. When we got done eating, we went to look for the moving truck. As soon as we found it, we went to greet the new neighbors.

"Hello, my name is Maddison, but Maddie for short.". I said.
"Hey, I'm Allison, but Ally for short." She said.
"Nice to meet you girls, my name is Jack Parks." He said.
"Nice name." Ally and I said.
"Thanks." Jack said.
"Jack!" His mom yelled.
"Yeah, mom?" He yelled back.
"Come help please." She said walking towards us.
"Oh, hello would you girls like to help?" Jack's mom asked.
"Uh, sure." I said.
"Sure." Ally said.

*It's been a few hours, and my mom texted me.*

"Maddie where are you"?
"I'm helping the new people unpack."
"Okay, be careful." She said.
"I will". I replied back.

It started to get dark, so Ally and I headed home. As soon as we got home, we headed upstairs. I fell asleep around two in the morning. All I remember was that I was dreaming about Jack, but why though?

"Maddie you awake?" Ally asked.
"Yeah, why?" I asked confused.
"Get dressed, and come downstairs!" She said.
"Okay." I said.

So I got dressed, and headed downstairs to see a familiar face.

"Uh, hi Maddison." Jack said.
"Hey". I said.
"Want to hang out..?" He asked.
"Uh sure." I said.
"Allison can come too." He said.
"You sure?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.
