I walked into my father's room where him and his friends were having a meeting about their business. I really didn't want to disturb them, but I had to. I had another nightmare. "Father?" I asked, he got up "just one minute boy's" he says and smiles at me. We walk to my room and I hope into bed where he tucks me in, "What did you dream about this time Craig?" he smiled sitting on the side of my bed. "it was a blue caterpillar-" "a blue caterpillar?" my father cut me off, I nodded and he urged me to go on. "Then there was a white rabbit in a coat?" I questioned myself, my father nodded and kissed my forehead, "no more cookies before bed." he sighed, I nodded. He got up and left my room closing the door behind him.
{--- Years Later}
Me and my mother were in a white limo heading to a fancy party. I was wearing a tight tuxedo which could stop circulation in my arms. I had the suit buttons up all the way but let my black bow tie hang out, my mother didn't give me enough time to get ready and I wanted a little comfort, so underneath the top I on a white tank top, under my black dress pants I had on black knee high shorts, and if my mother saw my socks she would kill me! I had on ankle high mix match socks. One orange and white stripes and the other black with blue polka dots. "Craig!" my mother snapped me out of my thoughts."have you still been having those dreams? is that what you're thinking about?" "what do you mean?" "i've called you five times!" "well i'm sorry! and yes I still have been having those dreams. It isn't normal you know, people don't have the same dream every night!" "Relax craig" my mother put her hand on my knee, calming me down a bit. "I'm sorry." I sighed, she nodded. I looked out the window and saw all the people at this fancy party. My mother opened the limo door and we got out, suddenly we were greeted by the Ascot's, and their daughter, Hamisha. "Hello Craig, would you care for a dance?" Hamisha asked holding out her hand, I took it and she pulled me to the dance floor where people were spinning each other around with fancy music in the background. We started dancing but I was distracted by birds flying overhead, I suddenly bumped into someone, Hamisha apologized to them as we continued dancing. "What were you doing?" she whisper yelled, "Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly?" I asked, "No that's an absurd idea." she laughed. We saw her mother calling her, she looked at me and walked away following her mother. I walked off the dance floor but was greeted by two idiot sisters that were my cousins. "We have a secret." one of them said giddily, "yes we do" said the other. "well it isn't quite a secret if you tell me" I said, "That's why we're not telling." "oh, but you must tell me now. or i'll tell your mother you go swimming naked in the lake." "you wouldn't!" "I would" we argued. "Hamisha is going to propose" "You ruined the secret!" My sister said grabbing my arm and dragging me away. We walked near a rose garden before, I looked at my sister shocked "hamisha can't propose to me, I want to marry someone I love." "No you are going to marry hami-" we were cut off by Mrs.Ascot walking to us. "May I borrow craig." she said, my sister nodded and walked away, "follow me" me said walking into the rose garden, I followed next to her. "You know your father was the best man my husband-" she paused and looked at the roses, "I told those maids, red roses not white." "well you could always paint the roses red." She looked at me, "what an odd thing to say" She said as we kept walking. She talked about random things as I looked round. But suddenly my eyes landed on a white rabbit in a blue trenchcoat, he was looking at me when he suddenly turned into a tall dark skinned man who pulled out a pocket watch and pointed to it before he turned back into a rabbit and ran away. "did you see that!" "don't shout." Mrs.Ascot said. The bushes ruffled and the rabbit ran out of the rose garden. "I'm sorry but I have to go" I said running after the rabbit. I was running before Hamisha Stopped me. "Craig i've been looking for you come follow me." She dragged me to an altar like stand where we stood in it while everyone looked at use. "i've wanted to ask you" she got down on one knee and grabbed my hands. "Craig-" "Hamisha, you have a caterpillar on your shoulder." Hamisha looked at her shoulder and went to swat the poor thing, "don't hurt it" I picked up the blue caterpillar and put it on the end of the altar then turned back to her, "you'll want to wash that finger." she said before she grabbed my hands again. "Craig, will you take my hand in marriage?" she questioned, "w-well everyone expects me too, and you are hoping I will-" I saw the white rabbit pointing to his pocket watch before running. "I need a moment." I said before running after the rabbit. I couldn't find him all I found was a giant rabbit hole in the ground....
