Friday, At lunch, "Can I have something?" Kayley asked me. I gave her a Cheeto but she frowned which surprised me because she loves them. "Noo, that's good" she whined and ate it. I gave her a piece of chocolate, since she doesn't like a lot of chocolate. She smiled and put it in an empty chip bag. After adding a few things, she started to look sick. "You okay, Kay?" I asked. "I feel like I'm gonna puke" she stated, looking blankly at the table. I leaned over to Meagan and whispered, "Scoot over." She did and when I told her Kayley wasn't feeling well, she looked like she was about to jump out of the seat. "If you puke, I'm gonna jump out of this table" Lillie said. Out of this table? I was about to ask before my eyes darted back to my sick friend. "J, look" she opened the bag and I suddenly felt sick. "Why was I wearing my glasses?" I asked myself, taking them off and rubbing my eyes, trying the image out of my mind. Soon remembering that I have gym with Kayley and it was next period.
Before gym, in the locker room, I asked Kayley if she still felt sick, she just noded. "Do you want to go to the nurse?" I asked, feeling dizzy and lightheaded but didn't plan on bringing that up because it happens often. "No!" She almost yelled, I was about to say something but we needed to go to our gym teachers. Luckily, all the coaches were in the same area, playing the same thing. Basketball... Great. Once both, Kayley and I were out. I asked about the nurse again. "I don't like going to the nurse" she told me. "Kay... Come on" I said. "I don't want to puke on people I care about" she whispered so quietly that I almost didn't hear her. Aww... I thought but didn't say anything because if I did, she would just deny saying anything. "Well, I'll go if you do" she said. "I don't feel like throwing up" I pointed out. "Then what's wrong?" Kayley asked before adding, "You're face is pale... And not like normal pale, like, like sickly pale. If you're going to... Pass ou- or faaaiint" she looked at me with her rare serious face. "You feel lightheaded again?" She asked. "It's not a big deal" I told her. "I thought that stopped" she frowned. "It did... For like two months" I told her. "I'm not going to the nurse" I quickly added. Knowing how stubborn I am, she just noded. "Then I won't be going to the nurse either" she said. Fine I rolled my eyes.
This seems to happen a lot. Kay and I will usually get sick around the same time. When I had Strep Throat, she had a few days before I got it. She probably gave it to me by talking because that's how you get Strep Throat but... It happens. I didn't publish anything last Wednesday because I really didn't feel like it. Sorry, but I did make a new cover... What? I got bored. Anyways, B-Byyyyyeeee
