Believing

Tao~

As I was waking up I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my body. It felt safe. I open my eyes to see that kris was in the same bed as me. I was so surprised I fell off my bed.

"You okay?" Kris said as he woke up rubbing his eyes.

"Yeah, it's just that you surprised me." I said as I stand up.

As I was getting up I saw that my hand was bleeding slightly. One thing I noticed was that kris had looked over to me, but something was wrong with his eyes. They were crimson red again like they were yesterday.

"Kris are you okay? Your eyes are red." and as soon as I asked that he got up really fast and left the room.

I follow him out of the room, but when I reach the living room he is nowhere in sight. I go to the front door to see that his shoes are gone. Where would he go so early in the morning? Why where his eyes red? I had so many questions for Kris when he comes back.

"Tao what are you doing up so early?" I turn around to see Luhan.

"I woke up because I fell out of bed." I said feeling embarrassed. "Do you know where Kris goes in the mornings?" I ask Luhan.

"He probably went on his morning run." Luhan said.

"Really?" I question him just to make sure he is not hiding anything from me.

"Yeah as far as I know he is." as he said that I wondering what he really was doing out there.

I saw that kyungsoo was also awake, and that he was already in the kitchen making breakfast. I walk into the kitchen to see what kyungsoo was making.

"Hey, kyungsoo." I said. He turned around his eyes were wide from surprise.

"Good morning Tao." he said with a gently smile.

"What are you making?" I ask him

"Nothing special just some biscuits and bacon." he said. It sounded really good as I know I had nothing to eat last night.

"I'm gonna be in the living room while you finish making breakfast." I said while going to the living room.

"Okay." I said as he was flipping the bacon in the frying pan.

I see that Luhan was cuddled up next to Sehun. They both were watching Running Man. Since I had nothing to do I sat down on the couch to watch it with them.

Kris~

I had to get out of the room or else I would have attacked Tao. I know that he saw my eyes, and when I get back he is going to be asking questions. I'm not even sure how to answer him. As far as I know me and a few others are vampires, and only some know who we are. It brings danger to the people who know we are real. I don't want to drag Tao in to this world. I want to keep him safe. If he was to know who I am I fear the people that are against us will use him.

"Well look who is out so early." I turn around to see someone I never wanted to see again.

"What do you want Jiyoung." I said. I didn't really want to see his face.

"I can tell you have someone new in your group." he said with a evil grin. I wanted to rip his head off right now. I didn't want to deal with any of his crap.

"Can you leave us alone." I said want him to leave.

"Why should I?" he asked.

"Cause the only thing you bring is trouble were ever you go, and I don't want that." I said.

"Don't worry I will be back." with that he disappeared from my sight.

I'm glad that he left, but I fear for the safety of Tao. If Jiyoung was to get his hands on Tao who knows what he will do. Then all of the sudden a question dawned on me. Why is Tao so important to me? It's not like I love him I just meet him a few days ago. Maybe it is a brotherly feeling to protect him since he had nobody, or maybe it is love at first sight. I just have no clue anymore. I look at my watch to see the time. It was already passed 9. I'm lucky that we had nothing scheduled for today. I start to head back to the dorm after I had calmed down.

I hear the door open, and I see that Kris walked through the door.

"Kris where were you?" I asked "You had me worried." I noticed that his eyes were not the red crimson color but his normal chocolate brown eyes that I loved.

"Oh, I had went on a run." he said looking away.

"Kris are you okay?" I ask to make sure nothing happened.

"Yeah, I'm fine why wouldn't I be." he said.

"You were acting weird this morning though so I just wanted to make sure." I said. I knew he was trying to avoid this topic. I wanted to know what he was hiding from me.

"Kris can I ask you something?" I asked him.

"You just did." he said and I glared at him, "Sure go ahead."

"What was wrong this morning? I mean your eyes where." I stop not sure how to say what I wanted.

"What do you mean? What about my eyes?" he asked me.

"They... they were red." I said quietly to make sure nobody else heard me.

"Lets go to our room, and I will explain." he said grabbing my hand.

Leading me to our room. He opened the door and pulled me in after him. He sat down on his bed and patted to the spot next to him. He wanted me to sit next to him, so I did just that.

"What I am about to tell you could put you in danger." he said with a serious look, "Do you still want me to tell you?" he asked me, and I just nodded. "Well I'm not sure you will believe me but I am telling you the truth." he paused for a second, "I'm a vampire." what did he just say. He was a

v-vampire. How can they be real.

"Are you joking?" I asked him, I still can process this.

"I told you, you wouldn't believe me." he said.

"How can I believe it." I said back to him.

"You saw my eyes earlier this morning right." he ask and I just nodded. "When ever I lust for blood they turn red." he said. It did make sense.

"And why would it be dangerous for me to know this?" I asked him. Would someone attack just because I know his secret.

"I have people out there that don't like me." he looked at, "They will stop at nothing to destroy me. They take away people who are important to me." he paused, he was looking at my face "And you are important to me." he said. I blushed I was important to him.

"I am." I said, I still can believe him. Why would I be he just met me a few days ago. "We just met, so how can I be?" I asked him.

He cupped my face in his hands and stared into my eyes and said, "I fell in love with you the first time I laid eyes on you." my face flushed bright red. What did he just say? He loved me. Me? How can he love me? Did I love him? Maybe I do. While I was lost in my thoughts I felt something on my lips. I snap out of my thoughts to find that Kris had just kissed me. The feeling of his soft lips on mine was bliss. It was like the world had stopped for us. Before I knew I was kissing him back. This felt right. I felt complete. We broke apart to catch our breaths.
