My Boss (Niall Horan Fic)

Chapter 1

Niall’s POV:                                                                                               

Great. Just great. What lawyer goes through a divorce? This one does! My stupid wife or should I say ex-wife is trying to take everything from me. She cheated not me! I don’t care cause I’m gonna win! I call my assistant Stacee in for a meeting to talk about what court cases I have coming up.

“Stacee.” I buzz her phone.

“Yes Niall.”

“Can you come meet with me real quick to go over some dates for court?”

“Yes sir need me to bring anything?”

“Yes the Peters, McMahan, and Daniels files please.”

“Okie dokie. Anything else master?”

“No ma’am now get up her before I fire you haha”

“On my way.”

She is so funny. I couldn’t ask for a better assistant. She is cute too. Long blond hair, sparkly blue eyes, and a killer figure she is not too skinny but not fat. I always thought she was beautiful but I had a wife. Not anymore. I was 16 when me and Madison got together. We were high school sweethearts. We got married at 23 and were married for 4 years and I found out she was cheating on me for 2 years before we were married with a guy named Mike then again for 3 years after we were married.

I feel stupid I do. But now I don’t care cause I have a beautiful assistant I need to talk to. Stacee comes into my office and sits down.

“Well chief here are the files.”

“Okay and what days do I have court?”

“Jesus Niall would it kill you to look at the calendar haha.”

“Yes because that’s your job haha.”

“You have court tomorrow at 3:30 for the McMahan case. You know what she is doing right?” She tested me.

“Yes smartass I do haha. She is filing full custody for her 3 kids against her abusive ex-boyfriend.” Stacee started clapping.

“Very good Ni! Also you have a meeting in an hour with Romen to talk about him filing divorce.” I cringed at the word divorce.

“Okay” Stacee looked at me weird.

“You okay Ni? Is it about Madison?”

“Yeah. I just don’t know what I did wrong.”

“You did nothing. She is a whore and doesn’t deserve you! Any woman would be lucky to have you. And plus your 27 you still have time to get married again and have kids. Now stop mopping!”

“Thanks Stacee your right! She is a whore Mike can have her!”

Stacee is right I’m 27 I need to get back out there! Maybe Stacee would go out with me. I mean I’m a lawyer and she is my assistant there isn’t really anything I can get in trouble for.

I need to ask her before someone else gets her.

“So what are you doing this weekend?” I ask

“Nothing decorating my new flat and maybe go to the pub. You?”

“Nothing at all. Let’s go to the pub tomorrow at 8 pm for the football game.”

“Okay let’s do it! It’s Derby County v Bohemians right?”
