prologueBefore the sun succumbs to the pitch-black color that dyes the sky, it puts on its foremost beautiful display. The glowing ball of fire we call the sun, sets to the west of the horizon in Orion, New York.
During its downfall, the sun stains the sky with different hues of color. From light coral to orchid purple, before the sun surrenders to the dark inky nightfall - it reminds us humans who has the dominance. Reminds us why we love the phenomenal, that is the sun.
When the night eventually consumes the sky, the sun becomes just another star - like the rest of us. Late nights when the sky is charcoal black and the stars are easy to see, if you focus your eyes - one star stands out. Its tiny light colors the black sky with a speck of fiery red, orange and yellow.
Just as beautiful as before, just smaller - which for some reason bothers us humans. I think the only reason the sun goes down at night, is for its love - the moon. He knows she isn't as nearly as bright as he is, but her light is white and pure, reminding him why he loves her so.
Everyday before the sun falls, it puts on its best performance, but for the moon.
The sun does it for love.
Raw and honest love.
