Chapter 2 a plot revealed

As I just fell asleep I heard an annoyingly loud noise, I'm quite Angry. It sounds like a lightning bolt plus a darkness beam smashing together, if you don't know what that sounds like it's like thunder, but louder and more high pitched. It makes me very angry because I just fell asleep and I was woken, can't a dragoness get any sleep around here? I mean seriously, I wonder what the weather is like outside because thanks to some noisy idiot I'm not going back to sleep anytime soon. I walked outside, I'm quite fond of my cave but I like outdoors too. As I stepped out of my cave I looked at the sky with happiness. "YAY there's a storm", I said happily, but my happiness soon turned to confusion as I saw a dragon at the river, for those of you who don't know, there is a river outside my cave, how lucky am I. This dragon was dark grey with black wings, a scull on the end of his tail, 2 curved spikes on his chin, red eyes and a scar across his eye.

"Oh my god it's her, the one i have been searching for", he was suddenly staring at me. "Uhh what" I said confused, "it's you", he Kept saying. "Huh me, I'm confused" I replied, "I'm almost certain it's you Starla" he said. I jumped back "okay this is weird, who the hell are you and how did you know my name", I growled, he jumped back "oh I'm sorry I'm drakor, my friend June and I have been searching for you for a long time" he said. "And why have you been searching for me?" I asked curiously "we can't talk out here, can we please go inside?" He asked, "you are quite odd but alright" I said leading him into my cave. As we got inside he lit a fire on the sticks I had gathered earlier and sat down, I smiled at him and sat down near him. "So why were you searching for me?", I asked

He began "you remember when you defeated shadow?", I nodded "well his mate is furious and knows it was you who did it. Ever since he died she has been searching for ways to bring him back, and we think she found a way. The dark spell books say something about a resurrection ritual, here comes the important part, if she succeeds in reviving him he will not only come back ,but he will come back stronger than ever. There's more, in order to succeed there must be two sacrifices, a pure dragon, as in peaceful and not a touch of darkness. and a relation to him, you know what that means don't you? you are the only one left related to him, in order for him to be brought back you must be sacrificed. If there's one thing I know about Shyla is that she will stop at nothing to bring him back. That is why June and i looked for you, we can't let him be brought back, we must do everything in our power to stop this ritual. That's why June and I want you to stay with us, we can protect you, now I know you are powerful enough to protect yourself. but we can't let you get caught and Shylas forces are more powerful than you think, they are out there right now searching for you... Please...

His words frightened me. Shyla was in my dream, shadow being resurrected, no that can't happen.. Stronger... Oh my god... Sacrifice... I'm shaking right now, I'm scared. I don't want to die yet, "ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH", I screamed at the top of my lungs. Drakor jumped, "STARLA are you okay" "y-yeah I'm just frightened, afraid", I said. "I see" he said, "I have a question", I exclaimed "can you help me with my darkness. And how do you know so much?" I asked "well I'm sorry but I can't help you with your darkness, believe me if there was a way I would trap my own darkness too. And... I know so much because... I'm.... Shylas son" he whispered.

Shylas son, those words kept playing on in my head. What if he was a spy, what if he's trying to capture me, why would he tell me all this if he was a spy though? What if I'm overacting, what if he had the same reaction when he found out I was shadows daughter? What if he wants to kill his mother, just like I killed my father? What if he is not strong enough and wants my help. Wait he was stuck with shadow, oh my god poor child.

"Wow that's a shock", I said "I COULD SAY THE SAME ABOUT YOU BEING SHADOWS DAUGHTER" he snapped. "wait I'm sorry your right I shouldn't have said that.." I said "it's okay don't feel bad, I had expected you would be shocked so please don't feel bad" he replied, "I'll go with you", I decided I mean what could possibly happen to make things worse. "You will?" He said cheerfully, "yeah sure" I said smiling, "yay" he said like a little hatchling. I Couldn't help but laugh a bit,
