"Hi,I am Jayde Tomlinson.",I told the teacher. "Hi. I am Mr.Roberts, here are your books.",He handed me my books and pointed to my seat. I sat in the back. "Ok we are starting a new book today. 'The Great Gatsby'.",Mr.Roberts said. I rose my hand."I have read that book before it was quite good.",I said when he called on me. "Well since you read it you may do a book report if you want.",He said. "I would love to.",I replied. I got my notebook out and started writing.
At the end of reading I had part of my report done. Everyone was leaving,I went up to Mr.Roberts. "Mr.Roberts? Can I do a book presentation for the book? So at the end of the book I can present it.",I asked. "Sure. You are one of the best students in this class,if you keep up the good work you can go to the advanced reading class.",He said. I smiled and headed for my next class.
