Once upon a time, in a house bigger than you can possibly imagine, two boys are playing Wizard Chess in their living room. Or, at least trying to, as one is only nine and the other is eight. The older boy, named James, said "Albus, I've won! Or at least I think I have!"

"You know what boys? I think it's time for bed. You too Lily." said their mother, Ginny Potter.

"Aw, c'mon mum, five more minutes!" James tried to negotiate, but Ginny wouldn't have it.

"No James, off to bed." She wouldn't take no for an answer.

"Okay, fine." James gave up and went to his bedroom, follow by Albus.

Lily got up from her chair, set down her copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard onto the table, goodnight to her mother and went to her bedroom. She changed into her nightgown, and got under the covers. But something wasn't right with six year old Lily Potter.

Lily didn't get to say goodnight to her father, one ritual she does every night before bed. Harry Potter has been very busy lately, working as an auror. But Lily had a way to see her father. Lily had a way to do everything.

Lily took her favourite teddy bear (the one her father gave her) in her arms, and squeezed its left paw. Harry charmed the bear before he gave it to her, so whenever Lily squeezed the bear's left paw, he would Apparate to the bear's location.

Harry Apparated into Lily's bedroom, standing right next to her bed. "Is everything all right, Lily?" he asked, worried about his only daughter.

"Daddy, can you sleep with me?" she whispers.

Harry wants to decline, as he has work to do, but he couldn't disappoint his little girl. "Oh, alright."

Harry got into Lily's bed and put his arms around her. They fell sleep in each other's arms that night, and both Harry and Lily had enjoyed it.
