"Ready for you first flying lesson, kiddos?" Harry asked his three, hopefully athletic children. After the arrival if James' Hogwarts letter yesterday, Harry realized he needed to learn how to play Quidditch if he ever wanted to make his house team, and Lily and Albus begged for a lesson themselves. The three have played around on brooms many times before, but have never gotten a prober lesson. So, Harry and Ginny are going to teach their children the noble game of Quidditch today.
After teaching James, Lily, and Albus, how to fly and how Quidditch is played, Harry and Ginny split them up. Harry thought James would make a good Seeker, so he decided to teach him about that. Ginny decided to teach Lily and Albus about being Chasers.
Ginny, Albus, and Lily were high up in the air, passing the Quaffle around and throwing into the hoops. But Lily wasn't really paying attention to her mother. She was watching her father teach James about being a seeker.
Harry released the snitch, waited a few moments, then allowed James to go look for it. James was not very good at this. After an hour, Lily saw it. It was pretty far away from where James thought it was. So she bolted after it, chasing for a good two minutes before she finally caught it.
"James, you really are bad at this." she said upon giving the snitch back to her father.
"Lily, that was wonderful!" said Harry. He was glad his little girl was to be a Seeker, just like him, and a very good one, with a little training.
And for three years, Harry trained his youngest child until she became the youngest Seeker Hogwarts has seen in 28 years.
