Forgotten ANBU (FINISHED)

Chapter 6

Naruto's pov

I was on top of the Hokage tower waiting for my so called father to leave once he did I body flickered into his office setting my Haiti down with my ANBU mask and a note then left. I ran through the gate for hopefully the last time I had given a note to Kakashi-nii and to lord Hokage and lady Kushina. I stopped a few feet away looking back at the village gate with a hateful glare and proceeded to head to Suna.

Kakashi's pov

Naruto be careful and remember I will always think of you as my little brother. I thought standing on top of the Hokage monument looking out towards Suna. I was so mad at Minato-sensei but I had to forgive him that is what Naruto wanted me to do after all.

Minato's pov

I sat at the kitchen table clutching the note that Naruto left.

"Is Nii-san coming back?" Akia asked peeking into the kitchen.

"I don't think he will be Akia." I said looking at her with sad eyes as Kushina cried on my shoulder.

"Why would he just leave us like this?" Kishina sobbed. I sat there wondering what we had done to him to make him leave the way he did.

My pov

Naruto arrived at Suna's gate and the guards recognized him and took the gasping 16 year old straight to the Kazekage feeling sorry for the boy because of the lack of attention (neglect) he was getting from his parents and sister, also pittying Konoha for they just lost their greatest legend and protector. Once the guards got to the Kazekage's office they knocked once waiting for a come in one carrying a sleeping Naruto.

"Come in." The Kazekage said looking up from his papers.

"Sorry to disturb you lord Kazekage but Naruto collapsed outside the gate it looks as if he had been running all day and part of the night to get here." The guard that was carrying Naruto said setting said boy on the couch at the side of the room.

"I see so he finally left." Gaara said looking at the worn out boy he saw as a brother.

"It seems so." The other said shaking his head. Gaara nodded and dismissed them waiting for Naruto to wake up. A little while later Naruto stirred waking up with a groan.

"Naru? Why are you here? Arnt you supposed to be in Konoha being their legend?" Gaara said looking at the blonde in front of him who looked to be on the verge of tears.

"Gaara I can't handle them anymore the people, my so called family. I just can't!" The blonde said finally breaking down into sobs. The Kazekage stood up from his desk walking over to the crying blonde before embracing him into a brotherly hug.

"It's alright Naru your here and safe with me Temari, and Kankuro." Gaara said calmly rubbing Naruto's back in a calming way.

"I did it Garra I actually left the village I turned in my ANBU mask and Haiti yesterday morning." Naruto said hugging the Kazekage back still crying. Garra sighed and smiled.

"Naru do you want to stay here and become a ninja for the sand?" Garra said sadly looking at the younger boy.

"That's why I came Gaara." Naruto said with a nod letting him go.

"Okay but we need to give you some tests to determine where you should be placed." Gaara said going over to a bookshelf.

"Okay!" Naruto said excitedly.

Akia's pov

Nii-san wasn't there at our team meeting yesterday and dad came home looking sad clutching something in his hand that looked like Nii-san's ANBU mask. Suddenly my world felt like it shattered, I finally realized everything, I wouldn't see my Nii-san again, I couldn't look up to him as my brother or as the legend of the ANBU. Most importantly I couldn't get to know him. Everyday I felt like that and everyone tried to cheer me up, except for Kakashi-sensei and Sasuke-teme, but it was no use mom and dad where the same way we felt like we where missing something that we could never get back and it hurt. We (team 7) went on d-ranked missions and one c-ranked turned a-ranked. When we where doing that mission I still felt like I would see Nii-san around every corner but he was never there and it made my mood worse, we even completed the mission with success but I didn't care I just wanted my Nii-san. The chunin(?) exams where coming up and for some reason dad was perker then he has been since Nii-san left.

"Alright team I have nominated you for the chunin exams that are coming up in a week so I'll be giving you the week to train or what ever." Kakashi-sensei said calmly. I sigh and look at him even he has changed he doesn't read those pervy books anymore and took up drawing instead saying something like 'this is what my partner use to do to keep him busy on missions.' We excepted his answer when we did ask him. I look over at my two team mates and they looked pretty happy about what Kakashi-sensei said. We each took the sheet of paper he handed us and went our separate ways. I was heading home but the way I go I would always pass the gate looking out of it with a longing look. 'Nii-san please come back.' I thought as I slowly walked towards the gate.

My pov

A few miles away from the Konoha gate a group of Suna ninja was seen talking yet keeping their guards up for any attacks.

"Gaara why did you want to leave so early?" A tall dirty blond haired girl asked the red haired Kazekage.

"Because I felt like it Temari(?)." Gaara stated in a deep but yet calm voice.
