You Can't Wait Forever. (A One Direction fanfic)

Chapter 2

First period was over now. And thank God it was. It was now lunch and I found my way to the 'geek' table.

"Hey Sophie!" My friend Adam said. Me and him had been really good friends since grade 7.

"Hey Adam." I greeted him back. Me and Kenzie set our lunch down and took a seat, after of course we had to wipe our seats from food that had been spilt by previous students.

"So how has your day been so far?" Adam asked. "Same as always. Bunch of rude comments towards me. But nothing any different than what usually happens." I explain to him.

"I'm sorry Soph." He apologized. "So have you two got any plans for this weekend?" Kenzie asked both me and Adam. "Umm, not that I know of I don't." Adam said. "I don't have anything planned. Just sitting at home doing some extra studying I guess." I replied back to her.

"Wellll, my dad just so happened to help me get some concert tickets to One Direction's concert this weekend!! And I was wondering if y'all wanted to come along..?" I didnt have to think twice about my answer because I was a HUGE fan of them. "I would love too come Kenzie. I just have to tell my parents about it." I told her. " I also wouldn't mind coming as though I actually like some of their songs." Adam replied.

"Great! Then after school today we can meet over at my house and I'll explain the details to you?" Kenzie suggested. "Sounds great." Me and Adam replied.

"Ok! Well I have to get to my next class but I will see you two after school!" Kenzie exclaimed excitedly. Me and Adam both told her bye and then we as well headed off to our next class.

It was now my last class and our teacher just so happened to let us just get on our phones and entertain ourselves. I pulled my iPod out and turned on " Light Weight " by Demi. I loved Demi. She was my inspiration as well as Ed, One Direction and Little Mix. I had never seen any of them in concert but it was my dream. That's why I had no second thoughts about going this weekend with Kenzie and Adam. I finally had something too look forward to! I just needed a good way to bring it up to my parents....

During last period I had also text my mom to tell her that after school I was going over to Kenzie'a house for a bit.

To: Mom <3

" Hey mom! Me and Adam is going over to Kenzie's house for a bit after school to talk about some things. I'll be home in two hours or so! Love you! "

Almost 10 minutes later I got a reply.

From: Mom <3

Okay sweetie! That's fine and just call me when you start to leave! Love you too darlin'."

I was relieved she had been ok with me going over to Kenzie's house after school.

15 minutes later the bell had rung to go home. It's about time! I quickly made my way over to where Adam said he would be. Kenzie was already waiting with him.

"Ready to go discuss the details?" Kenzie asked us. "As ready as ever!" I exclaimed and we all hopped into Kenzie's car and headed over to her house.

"So Saturday morning we can all meet up here at my house at 4:30. We can stop somewhere on the way to the concert and eat. By then it will be around 6 and we can make our way over to the venue in New York. If we get there early then that's ok, maybe we'll get lucky and get to go backstage. ;)" Kenzie explained and then we all laughed at her last comment.

"Like we would get lucky enough to go backstage." I told her. "Everything sounds good to me! I better get home now, my mom had not stopped texting me that dinners ready.." Adam told us. "Same for me too. I better get going as well, I don't want to keep my parents worrying." I explained.

"Okay. Well I will see you both tomorrow at school! I can't wait until this weekend! We're gonna have sooo much fun." Kenzie said.

"I can't wait either! Bye Kenzie!!" I said as I was walking out the door. "Bye Adam!" I quickly waved at him and then turned around and started to walk the short distance to my house. I immediately called my mom"

Ringgg. Ringgg. Ringgg.

"Hello?" My mom asked.

"Hey mom! I just left Kenzie's and I'll be home in about 15 minutes!" I told her.

"Okay sweetie. Love you! See you in a few minutes." She said.

"Bye mom. Love you too." I then hung up and tried desperately hard to think about a way to bring up this weekend.

I am SOO sorry! Please don't hate me! I've been busy and I haven't had much time to write. I'm trying my best!

The next chapter should be up within a weeks time hopefully. Until then I really hope you liked this chapter! I literally just wrote it within 30 minutes.
