She is drop-dead gorgeous. Her smile brightens up the whole world. She looks a lot like Jade apart from skin color, hair, and eyes. She's darker than Jade, which means she probably tans. Her hair is a light brown and seems like it would be the softest thing in the world. I didn't touch it so I don't know for sure. It's very long, almost down to her butt. And her eyes. I don't have words to describe how enticing they were. They're a medium brown color. They are the perfect size. It's like when she wants them to be big, they're big and it's the same way with wanting them to be small. The rest of her body is a lot like Jade's. About five foot eight, with every proportion sized perfectly. I won't ever be able to get over the sight of her.
"So," I awkwardly say as she lets out a small giggle.
"Well, what are you majoring in?" Her soft voice inquires.
"I started off with accounting. I transferred to business for better paying jobs." I answer.
"Oh, so what do you want to do when you graduate?" She continues to question me.
"I really want to work at Hudl or some bank. But some people say I'll most likely get recruited for the Major Leagues." I explain.
"Thats so cool!" She excitedly replies. She smiles at me and I smile back. I wonder if she can tell how nervous I am. It would be humiliating if she could.
"Yeah, I guess," I say trying not to sound conceited. Logan looks at me and smirks. Dang it. He can tell which means Jade probably pointed it out. And if Jade pointed it out, Paisley probably noticed. "Well, I'll go get you ladies another drink. Logan, want one?" I announce.
"Get me two," Logan shouts at me as I walk inside. I pour two glasses of Sierra Mist and grab three beers. I give two of the three beers to Logan. He chugs the first one. I can tell he's a bit tipsy, and he'll be wasted by the time he finishes the next couple. I drink mine slowly. I don't want to get drunk tonight. Just in case someone needs a ride home. Wink, wink.
Paisley and Jade go off to talk to some people and get to know some others that they just met. Logan goes back to the fridge for more booze, and I head inside to clean up some of the mess, so it's not as bad when the party is over. I pick up cups that are in every single spot where a cup could be. On the fireplace, the coffee table, all over the counters and ledges. I pick up some plates and napkins from the tables and floor. I put all of the trash in a big bag and I throw it out in the garbage can, across the sidewalk from our mailbox, in the front of my house.
When I go back inside I see that the girls are headed into the bathroom. I catch Logan out of the corner of my eye in the living room, watching football. It's the Broncos vs. the Seahawks. I don't care much for either of those teams, so I don't go in to watch. As I'm in the kitchen, I chat with some friends, and I get more food out. People walk by and take some. I had 5 bags of chips out that were demolished by most of the guys, so I put out 5 more. A few minutes later the girls walk out of the bathroom. I see them turn and head my way.
"Hey," Jade speaks. Paisley runs her fingers through her hair, pushing it out of her face. I can't help but stare. She notices and gives me a weird face. I look away and I can tell she's smiling. I really wonder if she likes me back. "So, how wasted is Logan?" Jade interrogates.
"It's bad. He'll need a ride home," I declare to them. Jade looks at Paisley, and then turns to me.
"I can drive him home here in a bit. But, it's a ways out. I don't really want to come back if I do take him. So, Paisley if you don't want to leave..." She starts to say as I cut her off.
"I can take her home," I interrupt.
"Okay then. That works," She replies. Jade looks at me and smirks. Dangit! It's obvious again. They both get another drink and I grab a bottle of Pepsi out of the fridge. We go and sit by Logan in the living room. Logan is on the left side next to Jade and Paisley which are in the middle and I'm on the right. It must be my lucky day because I end up sitting right next to Paisley.
"After this game is done, I'm gonna take you home alright?" Jade talks to Logan. On the TV, the Broncos vs. Seahawks game is in the fourth quarter with 4 minutes left. The score is tied at 28. Wait a second. Keep waiting. And Peyton Manning throws a 43 yard touchdown pass, which is caught, the kick is good. The Broncos lead 35-28. Logan is pissed. He loves the Seahawks. Ever since they won the superbowl last year, he's been obsessing over them.
"DANG FLABBIT!" Logan screams. 10 Seconds left on the clock. The Seahawks pass is incomplete. Times Up. Broncos win. Now, Logan is furious. "Let's go." He yells at Jade. Normally, he wouldn't be this mad, but he is pretty drunk.
"Calm down," Jade demands. They head out the front door to Jade's silver Ford Fusion. She unlocks it with the button on her keys, and gets in. Logan walks around to the passenger side sits down, and slams the door. That made Jade angry. You can tell she's yelling at him. I imagine her saying something like this, "Don't you dare slam that freaking door ever again! This is my car and I paid for it with a lot of money!" Frustrated, she drives off. Paisley giggles at the scene. I let out a small laugh with her. Goodness. Even her laugh is perfect. Shes about  5 inches shorter than me, perfect cuddling size. I can't wait until I get to know her better.
We go and sit on the loveseat next to the couch that we were sitting on before. I really need to get the nerve to ask her out. She looks at me and slightly smiles.
"So how did you get here? Like a scholarship or?" She politely asks.
"Well I got a full ride scholarship for my first two years, I took it. Last year, I got a sports scholarship, only because I stopped caring, and this year I got another full ride," I try and explain. She looks at me, and I know she understood me.
"I see," She smiles with those perfect teeth. Our hands accidentally touch as we both reach for our drinks. She pulls away to take a sip then sets her hand back down next to the crack of the cushions in the loveseat. I turn sideways a bit so I'm facing her. Our hands touch again, but this time, neither of us pull away. We smile at each other, and in that moment I know, we're going to have a great future. The conversation lingers about my scholarship and how my parents trained me as a child not just to be amazeballs at sports, but also respectful and caring.
"You're different from other guys, you know that right?" She questions me.
        "How?" I interrogate back.
"You're kind, respectful, and you're not a complete jerk like everyone else I've ever met," She interprets.
"So, that's a good thing right?" I continue.
"It's a great thing," She clarifies. We talk about my childhood and what my parents do for a living. I tell her about how my parents bought me this house as long as I promised to finish college and eventually get a job to help pay it off. I tell her about my current job at GNC, where I give people tips on a healthy diet and what products they should use to become fit along with what workouts to do. I also tell her about my brother getting jealous of the thing I have.
"Haha, so you're 14 year old brother got mad and went to live with your grandma, because you got all of these things and all he got was a new phone? Even though they explained to him that when hes older he'll get the same?" She tries to understand.
"Yeah, it's crazy," we both chuckle at the silly anecdote and I tell her more about it. It's already 1:30 a.m. but most people haven't left yet, so we continue to talk. We get bored eventually since we're talked so much about me so I go and turn on the playstation. I put in Grand Theft Auto: V and I teach her how to play. She ends up being really good, she had 5 stars and let me tell you, they're easy to get, but not easy to get rid of, but somehow she did it. We kill some cops and steal a bunch of cars and motor bikes. We beat tons of missions in really fast times.
It's really amazing how just one person can make your whole life better just by looking at you. Even if you've just met. Paisley is incredible. I can't stop thinking about her lovely smile. Mother Teresa once said, "Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love." I never would've never thought that I would meet someone this perfect.
