I wake up and see a text from Selena.
Hey Mack so I thought before I left I would throw Justin a surprise party. It's tonight at 6 at the Ballroom on 34th street. Maybe you could come for a little bit.
I look at the message and I don't respond immediately.
Sure I would love to come.
I respond even though I didn't really want to see him and Selena together anymore.
fine.
She responded.
I could obviously tell she didn't want me to come but I was there for Justin.
It was only 1 after I'd finished getting ready.
I wore a loose black and white striped dress and some brown combat boots.
I finished curling my hair and it was 1:30.
- at 6:15-
I get out of the car at the ballroom and see people entering the ballroom.
I walk in and everyone yells SURPRISE.
I jumped startled at the thought.
"Sorry we thought you were Justin", Selena said rolling her eyes towards me.
I nod unhappy.
Then the door opens and Justin walks in.
SURPRISE.
We all yell and a grin grows across his face.
"Awe thank you all for coming it means so much to see all of you in one room", Justin says smiling.
"I planned this all for you!", Selena said smiling and running over to him.
He lifted her up in his arms.
I looked away in jealousy.
I saw Justin smiling at me and he waved. I waved back not smiling.
I walked around talking to everyone I knew and catching up with others that I hadn't seen.
Before I knew it, it was 8.
I decided it was time to give Justin his gift and be on my way.
I hadn't seen Justin for almost 30 minutes, now that I think about it.
I walked around until I got to the back room.
"Hello?", I asked entering the room slowly.
I see Justin and Selena making out in the room.
"Oh um sorry", I said feeling tears caressing my eyes.
"Shit Mack", I hear Justin say softly.
"Justin it's fine", Selena said pulling him back.
"No Selena it's not.", he said pulling away from her.
"I'm fine", I lie while a tear escapes my eyes.
"Mack please don't leave", Justin said running over to me.
"I was just going to give you your gift but now I know it won't mean anything.", I said unhappily.
