Night World's Hard Bite...

CHAPTER 3

For me the party was a mundane one, because all around you could just find  couples sitting together, people taking selfies and some drinkers on the dance floor. Caleb was all surrounded by girls which made me feel insecure.I was sitting all alone on a couch with juice in my one hand and mobile in other.I was chatting  with my childhood friend ash.

After a long while I saw Nora with Andrew,hand in hand she came there and took a sip from my glass.

"How you doing,.....enjoying??" and I replied freakingly,"Not even my shit enjoying..!!" I'm soo bored."Ohh so let me spice up your mind and half disclose a secret!",Andrew said.I was amazed by the word Secret,"What secret?"......I asked.

"Tonight something will happen which will completely change your  life.....I'm preety sure about this"said Nora."Stop jumbling up the words guys and please tell me straight what are you talking about?" I replied furiously."Ohh come on cassie we don't want to be a spoil sport,you till then keep imagining all those stuff that could affect your life", saying this Andrew and Nora tured away all I could see was their back leaning front ward as they both were drunk."Am I going to die tonight?!"I shouted and Andrew turned gave me an aweful look and then disappeared in the cloud of the dance floor.

Then I turned to Caleb,he was still surrounded by girls. Is this something related to me and Caleb? I thought and then shook my head disagreeing with my lame thoughts.

After some time I saw Caleb coming towards me,there was a wry smile on his face."Would you like to dance with me preety lady?" he asked keeping that smile on his face.He didn't wait for my answer and took me with him,instead of taking me on the dance floor he took me to the backyard of Nora's place.It was beautifully decorated with yellow lights all around.There was a cool fresh breeze with a silent smell of night flowers.

Then he holded my hands and stepped near me."Hey Cassie",he said softly.I could feel the air comming from his mouth, placing my hair at the back of my ear he continued,"Today is the day!.I'll confess my self to you, I can't handle it anymore.Actually the thing is .......... a... a ....ok!!..actually the thing is... that...THAT I LOVE YOU.There was a silence for a mintute,and then finally I replied ALTALST....I LOVE YOU TOO and you took it very long to confess."Yeah I know",he hesitated.

His hands went over my waist and he pulled me towards him I rested my hands over his shoulder and blushed preetily,the gap between us was reducing.We were looking at each other and then he turned his eyes over my lips,he leaned towards to kiss me and I turned.

There was silence,complete silence we could hear the sounds of wind blowing,leaves moving and the fast music inside.......

"I'm sorry but I don't think that this is right",I said
"What is not right?!....what are you talking about Cassie....are you saying we both being together is not right??!",replied Caleb impatiently."No Caleb...you getting me wrong,I love you,I've always loved you.......But I think that we are going too fast now we should give our relationship some time",I made myself clear.I hope you are getting me...."yeah as you say,if you want some time it's ok....", saying this Caleb left from there and I was left all alone there analysing myself,thinking about the early past....thinking about Caleb.
