"For God sakes Sterling! Could you hurry the fuck up?! We're gonna be late for school!" I shouted, banging on his door.
"Damn, looks like somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning" he replied, finally opening the door.
I smacked him on the side of the head.
"I don't have time for your games Ster. Come on, let's go" I said, walking away. "Well good morning to you too sis" he said sarcastically.
I stopped in my tracks and turned around to face him, smiling politely. "Good Morning bubba" I greeted kissing his cheek softly. "Now, that's better," he said,kissing my forehead. He went for the stairs and I followed him behind
"Thank God it's Friday!" I shouted.
"I know right!" he said,grabbing a few snacks out of the pantry.
"Those aren't my granola bars are they?" I said, giving him the death stare. "What if they are?" he replied, raising an eyebrow.
Before he could get a chance, I yanked the granola bar out of his hand and ran for the door.
"See you at school!!" I screamed.
"You know what, I can't even be mad!" I heard his shout back.
Damn right.
In case any of you are confused,Let me clear everything up for you.
Sterling's my twin brother. He gets on my nerves, but we still love each other to death. Just like any other teenage brother and sister, we argue a lot. But we have a very close relationship with each other. He always has my back,and I always have his. That's just how we were raised.
Our family is gifted with something a little different than normal.
Magic. (for those of y'all that are strongly against witchcraft, I apologize. I'm very indifferent about it so it doesn't bother me at all. But if you are against it, this is your heads up lol.)
Sterling and I are both seventeen, and unfortunately, he was born a minute earlier than I was, which makes him the older twin.
We live in a house together with just us two,and our parents live a couple blocks down the road. This is for safety reasons, because unfortunately, there are some dangerous people that are after my family so our parents put us in a separate house to protect us. Our mom is a journalist, and our dad is a famous architect.
I sang the lyrics to my favorite song "Garden" by SZA as I pulled up to the entrance of the school.
"Call me on my bullshit! Lie to me and say my booty getting bigger even if it ain't!" Wow, I really felt that. Amazing job SZA. Freaking genius.
"Open your heart up, hopin I never find out that you're anyone else" I sang as I pulled into my parking spot.
I got out and glanced over at a familiar motorcycle. Great. Of all people I just had to park next to him.
Anyways. I ignored the pain in my heart that I'd somehow gotten used to, and dragged my tiny booty out of the car.
I met up with a couple of my friends, Lena, Melanie, Deena, and Madison. That's when I spotted...him.
Justin O' Reilley. My Ex-Boyfriend who I am still madly in love with. He's a werewolf, and I'm supposedly his mate. I guess you can kind of say we're destined to be together. But, he hurt me, and I don't wanna experience that again anytime soon.
We dated for 2 years. Those were the best 2 years of my whole life. I didn't regret any of it. But it all ended in a heartbeat when I caught him kissing some stank ass slut when we were supposed to meet up after school. When I dumped him..he dropped to his knees,and begged for me back, literally. But momma ain't raised a fool. He wants to give her attention? She can have him.
When a werewolf loses its mate, it slowly goes through a phase of depression. They need their mate in order to focus, and survive. Especially when they're an alpha. Which just so happens to be what Justin is. But he ruined that.
I'm not gonna lie, he is an amazing guy. He will love you unconditionally and give you all the attention and affection you need. Any girl would be lucky to have him, really.
Now, why did he cheat? The same reason why any guy cheats...they want to have their cake and eat it too. Temptation is the ultimate test in any relationship and if you can't resist temptation, then you simply shouldn't be in a relationship.
I really do miss him, but it's just too complicated.
We broke up a little over 3 months ago. We were the most popular couple all over. Everyone was surprised when they found out that Justin and I weren't together anymore. Hell, even my parents were surprised.
His sister, Santana, told me that he cried for a whole week, and refused to talk to anyone. Which I find hard to believe considering the fact that he's the strong, mighty Alpha. Emotionally,and physically. But, I guess it was killing him... literally.

Well, I'm back y'all!! It's been way too long. Ya girl's a college graduate now and I have a lot of free time on my hands now. I'll be using this time to fix and reconstruct Teenage Alpha and finally finish The Mafia's Chocolate Goddess. I know you all have been waiting for an update on that story for years...and you'll be getting it real soon!
