I was backstage and I could hear the sweet sound of Lego House pour through the walls along

with thousands of screaming girls. The opening night was in Denver in sports authority field. It

was one of the biggest venues I had ever played in and it sold out in 38 seconds. I could hardly

breath. I had every movement and step memorized from hours on end of rehearsals. The crowd

came to one final roar and than silence. I looked in the mirror and took a deep breath. "calm down

Taylor. You can do this" I repeated for the thousandth time in my head. There was a knock at the

door. It startled me so much I pushed against the wall too hard and my bad habit of tipping chairs

got the best of me. The chair fell to the floor with a bang that sounded more like a gunshot.

"TAYLOR!" Ed yelled while bursting in on me lying on the floor laughing

"I'm fine. I'm such a klutz." I said laughing.

"We'll I guess now your lying on the cold hard ground." He said joining me laughing. There was a

soft pause while he came over and sat by me. I sat up and his beautiful eyes were so close to mine.

"It's time to go out." He said kindly. I turned as pale as a ghost within seconds

"What's the matter?" Ed said kindly

"It's just, its so big and there are so any people..." And I trailed of imagining every possible

outcome in a horrid flash

"Nothing's going to happen" he said softly. Just then my mom burst in on Ed and I sitting on the

floor with his face inches from mine.

"Oh I'm so sorry I'll just-" my mom said frantically

"Mom we weren't-"

"I'm so sorry Taylor, hi Edward. I'm just going to leave. Ok?" She said shutting the door

"Mom we weren't doing anything!" I said loudly so she would hear. Relief rushed over her face.

"Oh good. Taylor, you're on in 5." She said and left

When she shut the door both Ed and I burst into laughter at my mom. Than, he leaned in and

kissed my forehead.

"You'll be wonderful" he said in a comforting tone.

I pecked him on the lips and said "thank you" and I got up and walked out. I could feel his warm

stare on my back.

I got to the stairs and walked 5 flights up. I was hooked up to wire and they would lower me onto

the stage while I played "You Belong With Me." It was suppose to be a flashback to fearless. And I

closed my eyes and didn't look down as they released the wire little by little. My feet hit the

ground and the words that I'd sang a million times over flowed out of my mouth effortlessly.

I finally gained the courage to look up and I saw the most magical thing. 50,000 people had

lifted their phones in the sky and singing my lyrics back. They didn't care that I missed my last

note, they were hear no matter what. I finished the song and pulled my ear buds out. The loudest

sound I had ever heard flooded my head and shook my entire body. This was the one feeling I

would never get tired of.

"Hello, my name is Taylor and I'm 26 years old." And they all erupted into a sea of crying and

laughing and screaming and smiling. I love them more than anything.
