Life is a mystery.
Life is scary.
Life is terrifying.
It consists of many tragedies, calamities, and mysteries.
I do believe in ghosts. They haunt me. They remind me of the past.
My first encounter with a ghost was 3 years ago, when I was still 13. My cousin died of suicide.
When I went to sleep, I felt her presence. She spoke.
"Mag-ingat ka. They will come for you kapag 16 ka na. Mag-ingat ka."
I woke up. I was sweating hard. I couldn't understand her. I mean, nakakaintindi ako ng Tagalog pero... hindi ko maintindihan ang ibig niyang sabihin.
December 21, 20** was the date that she died. I could hardly speak because of grief and sorrow. Masyado siyang mabait, inosente, at maligaya. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit niya ginawa yung bagay na makapagpatapos ng kanyang buhay.
That was three years ago.
Right now, at this moment, they are chasing me. Most people actually think that I'm dead. Pathetic. Can you keep a secret?
