Melinda's POV

I had a long day at school and I couldn't wait get home to some  peace and quiet. I was still thinking about me falling in front of josh  and on top of that being late, I was so done. When I got home and opened the door  I almost passed out, I saw josh I was so embarrassed and I almost turned and walked right back out of the house, but if it weren't fo my mother who called to speak to

I went to her and was like mom?!?!?! What's he doing here.

She looked at me and said the Thomsons are gonna be out of town for some time, and asked if we could let Josh stay here until they got back.

I thought long and hard on what my mom said, I was so over it I just said ok and walked upstairs.

On arriving to my room door I opened and plopped down onto my bed. And slowly I dozed off.

Josh's POV

I began to wonder what just happened now based upon what I'm told I know she likes so why did she not even realize me. But I didn't let that bother me too much. I continued to talk to my parent, until they had to go. We said our goodbyes and they left.
