Landing and lunches

I walked out of the terminal rubbing my eyes. That jetlag was really kicking in right now, a nine hour flight from Virginia to New York. I stumbled into the waiting area and a loud shriek of happiness woke me up. "JAYKIA MALAI RENNE CATER GET OVER HERE SO I CAN HUG YOU!" I heard my best childhood friend Carly scream. I happily ran over to her and gave her a massive hug. "Oh god Carly. I've missed you so much." I let go of her and then wrapped Portia into a massive hug. "Jaykia I missed you so much! So glad your here!" She exclaimed as he hugged me harder. I loved Portia all though we had only had known for a few months it was like we had known each other forever. "So shall we get your luggage and head off to lunch?" Carly said while grinning from ear to ear. I tucked a piece of my dark brown hair behind and smiled even harder. "I would love to. As long as you carry my luggage cause I am honestly way to tried." We all laughed and went over to the luggage retriever. Once we got all my stuff we walked out of the airport laughing and chatting about completely random stuff.

"Are we nearly there yet?" I whined. The ride to the resultant felt like its been going on for hours and I really needed to pee. "Not quite. Five more minutes." Portia reassured me. "But I need pee now!" I said squirming in my seat. " you should have peed at the airport like we suggested." Carly playfully scolded me. "But I didn't need to pee then. Now stop treating me like a child! I'm only a few months younger than you." I pouted which only caused the other two to laugh even more. "Okay we're here." Portia said as she pulled into the parking lot. As soon as she parked the car, I got out as fast as I could and ran straight towards the restrooms.

A few minutes later I came out of the bathroom and walked over to Calry and Portia but I notice that they were with another man. A man I'd never seen before. "I'm gone for ten minutes and you already replace me?" I joked as I stood next to the stranger. He let out a a cute laugh and smiled at me. His adorable green eyes shone in the light causing me to blush a little. "Hey I'm Rami." He said putting his hand out for me to shake it I happily took his hand and smiled. "I'm Jaykia but my friends call me Jay." I explained as I let go of his hand. "Nice to meet you Jay." He said while looking into my brown eyes. I gave him a look and sassed him. "What makes you think we're friends?" I heard Carly and Portia 'oh' as he laughed. "I like your style Jaykia." He said looking a tad bit embarrassed. "Thank you. And please call me Jay." I blushed. He gave me a are-you-kidding-me look which caused me to laugh really loud. "So we gonna eat or we just gonna watch you two pathetically flirt?" Carly ask. " food vs possible embarrassment." I said while moving my hands like they were scales. "Let's go with food." I decided. I didn't even know what Carly ment I mean yeah he's cute. Well no he's was hot! Great tan, brilliant white teeth, adorable green eyes and a jawline that I'm pretty sure if I touched it I'd cut my hand off. But he wouldn't want a girl like me. Would he? "Good let's eat!" Portia said as we headed over to the first available table.
