A/N : This is two days before light gets the note book also your an old friend of lights from school and you moved away but now you've come back for high school enjoy :P sachiko is light mother if you didn't know or forgot.

No one's pov :
you were going back to japan after 3 years to see light again and go back to high school. It was a long trip but it's worth it , you called lights mum and asked if you could stay there for a bit until you could find a place to stay.
Your pov:
"Hi sachiko i was wondering if i could stay with you for a bit till i can find a place to stay." "of course dear you can stay here till you find a place it's not a problem." "Thank you oh and don't tell light that i'm going to be there i want to surprise him." "- giggles- ok sweet do you have your uniform with you and everything you need with you?" "yes i do i shall see you in a bit then thank you so much." "No problem dear see you in a bit." I hang up and put my phone in my bag, I then think " i can't wait to see you light." i start getting my luggage and get a cab.
- time skip bought to you by ryuk the shinigami-
"Sachiko it's so nice to see you again." i take my shoes off and hug her she then says "same to you (y/n), my you've gotten tall since the last time i seen you. So your room is next to light's and i've made your bed, you just need to put your stuff away that's all." "Ok thank you oh where's sayu ?" "oh she's out with friends at the moment she should be back soon so it's just me and you at the moment so we could sit and talk or put your stuff away then talk." "i'll put my stuff away you go and sit down." she smiled and went into the living room. I went upstairs and put my stuff away, seem like forever since i've seen light i remember it like yesterday, after i put my stuff away and went down stairs to make some tea for me and sachiko.
As i was making the tea i heard the front door open and shuffling of footsteps then a voice "i'm home mum i had a nice time oh and i got that thing you wanted." "Thank you sayu oh and there's a surprise in the kitchen waiting to see you." "huh who is it ?" "go look and find out." after a few moments the door opened "(Y/N)" she ran up to me and bear huged me "it's nice to see you to sayu my you've grown you look so pretty." after that we sat down on the sofa and drank tea till i had to get something from my room for the yagami's but before i could go back down stairs the front door open's again.
"I'm home" "welcome back light how was school ?" "it was fine i'm going upstairs to study." "ok." as they were talking i slipped into light's room. I hear light's footsteps coming upstairs and into his room "(y/n)" he says quietly and walks to me then hug's me i hear him say "I missed you please don't leave me again." " i won't light i'm staying here in japan with you so i won't leave you ever again." light moves away a bit then kisses me it was a shock at first then i melted into it, after a while we broke away from it and just lay on his bed then fall asleep.
