Chapter 1

Hey Mom,

You'll never guess what happened!

Fairy Tail WON!! We won the Grand Magic Games!!!!! And on top of all of that we defeated the future form of a Sabertooth member named Rogue... but that story is way too complicated to explain right now. What I guess I really wanted to say was that I love you. And I miss you. So much.

Lucy Heartfilia's POV

The guild hall was filled with shouts and cheers as people toasted one another with beer. Gray and Natsu were going at it again. I sighed contentedly. Things were back to normal once again.  Levy sidled up to me with a smug grin on her face. "So Lucy..." Crap! "I think its about time that I had a little sneak peek at your novel!"

"Whaa- ARE YOU KIDDING ME LEVY?!"

"Come on Lu-chan!"

Screw this.

"You know what? I'll let you read the whole thing, as long as you don't make fun of me afterwards." I slouched in defeat. No wonder I'm one of the weakest members in the guild- I can't even put up a fight against Levy!

"Thanks Lucy!" She grinned and took out a stack of papers out of her bag. "Ya know, I was gonna read them anyway, but I decided that I might as well try to ask your permission. But I gotta go, bye!"

And with that, she rushed off, leaving me lost for words. I exhaled slowly and raised my cup to my lips, only to end up having an arm thrown unceremoniously around my shoulders. "Hey Luce!" I choked on my drink. "NATSU!! PERSONAL SPACE!"

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mira chuckling to herself. Uh oh...

All of a sudden, Master Makarov appeared on the stage. "Listen up brats!" 

The chatter slowly died down and was replaced with complete silence, although it was pierced with the occasional mutter.

"First of all, I just wanted to congratulate you all for retaking the title of 'Fiore's Strongest Guild'. I couldn't be any prouder of my children! However, the main reason I am talking to you right now is because me and a few of the S-Class wizards have planned out a surprise for you all."

My insides churned. Master's 'surprises' always seemed to be a little more on the psychotic and sadistic side... what could he possibly be scheming about now?

The Master continued.

"As you all know, recent events like the Grand Magic Games and our little skirmish with the dragons have brought your bravery, wit and skill to light. I can honestly say that my children have grown into a group of incredibly talented wizards. And so, I have decided to reward you all with a month-long trip to Fiore's finest resort- Tropicana!" (A/n I know that Tropicana is a brand of fruit juice, but it just seemed fitting! [In other words, I do not own the name Tropicana, the company named Tropicana does!])

The entire guild erupted into a cheer so immense that the very foundations seemed to shake! As for me, I'm ECSTATIC! 

I felt myself being lifted by strong arms, and the next thing I knew, I was on the shoulders of a certain pinkette. My cheeks flushed a delicate shade of pink as he romped around, grinning like a maniac. Correction: he IS a maniac!

"We're going on a vacation Luce!"

I giggled. "WOOHOO!"

I saw Levy squeal and hug Gajeel, who turned his face away. But I still caught his grin. Juvia ran over to Gray. "YESSSS! Gray-sama will be able to see Juvia in her brand new bikini!" Gray ended up having to drag Juvia across the room (she was clinging desperately onto his leg), and SOMEHOW, Gray ended up losing his shirt in the process.

Meanwhile, Mirajane was watching from afar as her favourite OTPs celebrated together.

Mirajane Strauss' POV

All we need is a certain blue-headed wizard and then the fun can begin. I smirk as I look over at Erza. She is smiling along with everyone else, but seems slightly withdrawn. Luckily, I can change that...

Hey guys! I'm sorry that it's such a short chapter, but this is my first time writing on Wattpad and it's taking a little bit of time for the story to start flowing easily. But let me know what you think of the storyline so far, and comment any suggestions for what you think should happen!
