Wake Me Up From This Nightmare

I lied. No smut.
Ariana's  POV

I sat up, yawning. I looked over at Austin and Lucas cuddling and fast asleep. I grabbed my phone and checked the time. 6:23 PM. I got up and put my phone in my bra. I walked to Cameron and Ervin's room and knocked on the door. Cameron opened the door and came out of the room.

"What's up?" He asked.

"It's six thirty and I haven't eaten barely anything all day." I said smartly.

"Ok well do you want to go get dinner with me for us all?" He asked.

"Yeah!" I said. I ran to my room and put my jacket and shoes back on. I re applied my makeup and put on my black lipstick. I put my earrings back on and got my purse. I grabbed my vapor pen and put it in my purse. I put my hair up into a fishtail braid. I walked out of my room and walked to the front door. Cameron was there waiting for me.

"I already ordered online. All we have to do is pick it up." He said. We went outside and went down to the garage. I pulled my phone out and went on Instagram. I took a selfie with Cameron and posted it. He laughed. We got in the car as I took out my vapor pen. I used it the whole way there. We got the food and then got back into the car. Cameron started driving. We got on a highway and as we were driving a car came the other way and slammed straight into the car. Black. Silence. Nothing.

Five days later

I woke up and I was in a white room. There was a beeping noise and I tried to move, I couldn't. I tried to talk, I couldn't. I grunted and Ervin stood up. He ran over to me and looked at my frail body.

"Ari honey, it's me Ervin." He said.

"H-" I tried to talk. "Wh-"

"Don't stress yourself baby. You were in a car crash with Cameron. There is a boy here to see you from your school. Do you want me to tell him to leave? He told me his name was Dan." He said.

"Te-tell hi-him too c-come in." I struggled to say. Ervin got up and opened the door.

"Come in Dan. I'm gonna go see Cameron. You can spend the night if you want." He said.

"Thanks Mr Burns." Dan said. The familiar voice made me smile. He came in the room. I tried to move again. I could.

"Hi Dan." I said. I talked clearly now.

"Oh Ariana!" He said, walking over and hugging me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I came to see you. I heard what happened." He said. He looked down at me.

"What exactly happened?" I asked.

"A truck had hit you in your car and you went into a coma. Your dad did to Ari. He has yet to wake up." He said. He hugged me as I started crying. "I'm so sorry Ari! I wish I could have helped!"

"It's not your fault! Don't blame yourself for this!" I said. He handed me my phone.

"Do you want to Vlog for me?" I asked him. "Since I am kind of in a hospital bed?"

"Sure!" He said. I put my phone on the video recording and handed him. He sat down on my bed. He turned the video on.

"Hi guys. So 5 days ago Ariana and her father Cameron were in a car crash. They were both taken to the hospital and we're both in comas. Today Ariana has woken up but her father has not. We will put a picture here of the cars. I have stayed here since it happened." He said. He showed me on the camera.

"Hi guys. Here give me the phone." I said. He handed me the phone. "So yeah. Dad hasn't woken up yet and my other dad is really worried. He is with Cameron right now and Dan is with me."

"So yeah. I'll Vlog later today. Ok see y'all in a minute." I said. I stopped the recording and texted Ervin.

Ari- Is dad ok?
Erv- He is fine. Don't worry. He will wake up.
Ari- I hope so. Hold on Dan needs something.

"Hey Ari?" He asked.

"Yes Dan?" I asked.

"How long have we known each other?" He asked, looking into my eyes.

"I don't know. 13 years?" I said.

"Yeah." He sighed. "Remember when we were 9 and we went on a date?"

"Yeah. We laid down on the grass outside of the adoption center and we looked at the stars. Then as you were taking me up to my room you kissed me." I said.

"Could we do that kiss over again?" He asked. "I mean on.."

"Dan?" I said, cutting him off.

"Yes?" He asked.

"Shuttup." I said. I pulled him tword me and our lips crashed against each other's. His tongue entered my mouth as we both fought for dominance. There was a knock at the door and we quickly pulled away from eachother. Dan went into the bathroom as I said "Come in!"

"Oh baby. How are you doing?" A person said. I looked up.

"Damion!" I yelled. He ran over and hugged me.

"Did they leave you all alone?" Damion asked.

"No. Dan came to see me. He is in the bathroom." I said.

"You mean the hottest guy in school came to see if you were ok?" He whispered. Dan walked out of the bathroom. His lips weren't covered in my lipstick anymore. I smiled at him.

"Damion?" He asked.

"The one and only! How is Mr Howell doing?" Damion asked, bro hugging Dan. Ervin walked into the room.

"You throwing a party in here or something?" Ervin asked.

"Yes." I said smartly.

"Damn! The sass is strong in this one!" He said. "Visitor hours are almost over. Your friend here will have to go and Dan can stay if he wants. I'm sleeping in Cameron's room."

"Ok. Well I'll text you. You have my number right?" Damion asked. I nodded and he hugged me. He left the room and Ervin summoned the nurse. He had her set up a bed for Dan in the room and one in Cameron's room for Ervin.

"What are you thinking about?" Dan asked, laying down.

"How I just want someone to wake me up from this nightmare." I said. He came over and hugged me. He kissed me and then walked back to his bed. He laid down and fell asleep. I fell asleep two hours later.
