"God you're a vulture", his violently deep voice hissed at the sky on the day she died. Tear drops rolled down his pale, dry cheeks, as he clenched his fist in pure anger. He was trying to think to himself, Where did it go so wrong? and What did I do to deserve something so unnerving like this?
It was about 12:00 the day she left him; it was over that other guy she was talking to. She was a cheat with her sweet words, and he knew she was a trip, but her golden blonde hair and her soft ocean blue eyes caught him by 'hello'. She did the same pleading and begging she always did when they fought, but he was done with the 'Sorry' and the fake 'I love you', he told her to leave him. She looked at him as the water fled from her eyes. "Please can we give this one more chance?", she implored as she grabbed his wrist and tried to look him in the eyes. His green forest color eyes looked towards the ground in sorrow. "I can't take this anymore, I'm sorry", he said weakly to her, trying not to let his emotions show.
She pulled away in utter despair, she ran to their room quickly, slamming the door behind her. He sighed, sat at the kitchen table nearby, leaning his elbows on the table covering his face. He was breathing heavily because of the anger that filled his veins. He could not think straight, his mind at the moment was destroyed because of her.
She opened the door, you could see her trembling as she walked past the table to the front door. He thought to himself, 'I should stop her, but I don't want to be hurt again by her lying and her manipulative self'; he exhaled at his stupid thought as she walked out the door. Little did he know, that would have been the last time he saw her.
He moved himself to the couch and turned on the TV, trying to get his mind off of her. He started to watch his favorite show, she wouldn't let him watch it because she didn't like it. He laughed at the funny joke that the main character made about women, he said in quote, "Women can be angry at one moment, but when it comes to a new purse, their attitudes change". He watched the show for hours, until the phone rang.
He was wondering, 'Who was calling this late?'. He grabbed the phone with his bony hands and answered it, "Hello?", he questioned as he answered. You could hear someone crying in pain, "I need help, I'm trapped", the voice cried. His eyes widened as he started to decipher the sound of the voice, he bit his lip in fear. "Where are you?", his voice strained in terror. She didn't answer his question, but the sound of the phone losing connection cut off. He rushed up, grabbing his shoes and keys quickly. He ran to his car quickly, starting it up, and leaving the parking spot.
He drove eagerly until he saw lights flashing. He stopped the car and rushed to the scene in hopes of her. He saw her and froze, he couldn't believe his eyes. She was gone. He looked down and thought , 'Maybe giving her one last chance could have changed forever'.
