Chapter 1

Dominic

I sat on the porch of Nessie's house and took a swig from the bottle of whiskey. How could she just walk over here and show herself off I thought thinking back two minutes ago when Alana my girlfriend came over. She came over to break off things because she thought I was cheating. I told her that I would never do such a thing. Being as stubborn as she was she didn't believe me. She yelled that it was over and I pleaded to her to explain, but she didn't care as usual.

I heard the door open behind me, and a hand caressed my back.

"Are you okay Nick?" Nessie's voice asked with concern spilling from it.

I sighed.

"I'm good sis" I said looking over my shoulder at her.

She bent down to get to my level. The wind blew her dark hair and landed in her face. She quickly swayed it away and put a hand on my left shoulder.

"She is a bitch, she just wanted to embarrass you Nick" She replied looking at the beach in front of us.

"Yeah, I know" I said

She patted my shoulder and got up.

"You'll be Okay" she said going in the house.

I turned to the ocean view. I thought about Alana and how I missed her. I could admit I thought about cheating but it was wrong. Alana was beautiful. She had sandy brown hair and hazel eyes and she was What you called fit. Why would I cheat on her.

I got up and went into my sisters house.

"I'm gonna go" I said scratching my right arm.

"Okay. see you later, don't come back I'm not going to hear you come in" she said holding up some headphones.

I nodded and headed out the door.

I walked down the concrete stairs and walked on the sidewalk. I was ready to cross the street but a dark blue big truck sped down the street in full force, bobbing and hitting every bump. I tried to get away from the speeding car but however the car kept going and hit me sending me all the way on the other side of the road. tumbling and I hit a three-sixty and I hit the ground with full force and my leg burned and my head was pounding bricks. I coughed up blood. My vision blurred and my eye felt like it was swollen. The car stopped and I thought he was going to help me but it looked like he grinned and sped off. I felt my breath slow down and my body went limb. I instantly stopped breathing and laid there to my death.
