Chapter 3

Dominic

My eyes flitted open and I saw a man with a white dress shirt that was open around the V-Line. He had a freshly shaved beard and a necklace of a cross dangled as he bent over me.

"Becca! He's awake!" He yelled motioning her to come. My vision wasn't 20/20 to start with. To be honest I'm not even sure if he's there.

I tried to move but my body wouldn't budge. My chest was on fire and my rib cage ached.

"What did you do to me?" I asked my voice raspy.

"You are safe" he said and patted my shoulder the same shoulder my sister patted.

My sister! I thought beginning to panic.

I tried frantically to get up but my body was not at all moving.

A Dark Brunette Came over to me. She was the most breath taking I've had my eyes on at this moment. She was a little pale and had on dark lipstick that hinted a shade of lip gloss. A Light blue eye shadow that brought out her dark navy dress, she had dark blue eyes and a great figure.

"What is your name?" she asked in a cute little voice.

It took awhile before I found my voice to answer.

"Dominic, but they call me Nick" I said starring in her eyes.

Her eyes were so beautiful. It reminded me of the ocean, the deep blue ocean.

"Well Okay Nick, I'm Becca and this is Holden" She said smiling lightly and pointing to the man that hovered over me.

I looked at the man beside me and smiled slightly.

I nodded my head. "Where am i?" I asked looking over my surroundings.

"You are in Larford Beach" Holden said.

I'm exactly by my sisters house not too far I thought feeling relieved. My back hurt every time I moved and I hated it I wanted to move but I couldn't.

"May I ask What happened to me?" I said looking back and forth at both of them.

They exchanged glances.

"You were hit by a car" Holden said putting his hands behind his back.

I gave a confused look.

I actually remembered now. Why am I still Alive. I nearly died.

"How am I alive." I asked finally Getting up from What looked like a surf board.

Becca smiled but it looked like her smile was forced. Holden looked away.

"We gave you medicine" Becca said looking over to me.

I shook my head. This all sounded a little too weird, if I were to have meds running in my veins I wouldn't be talking right now. I would be still knocked out.

I nodded my head as if I went along with it.

"I have to go" I said my voice strained

Becca's eyes went wide and she held me back.

"You have to rest, if you walk around without food and rest you will fall out" she said in concern.

I nodded.

I was far from hungry and Yes a little tired.

She helped me into her cabin and sat me down on the couch. I liked her home it was roomy and it felt like a home.

"How about I prepare your favorite dish now?" Holden said to Becca with a smile.

"Yes, Holden thank you" she nodded and sat next to me.

I looked at her. Why am I so fascinating to her? she was asking me all kinds of questions and my whereabouts.

it was kinda weird.

Of course I answered them gracefully and nodded my head trying to get in the conversation. For some reason my mind kept going on Nessie and Alana.

***

After a delicious dinner both of them showed me to a room I could sleep in. it was plain just a bed, a dresser, a mirror and a bathroom.

"Thanks" I said before I closed the door and laid down.

I instantly got comfy on the soft plush bed. I laid on my back and starred at the white blank ceiling.

Should I tell Nessie about the accident? I thought pulling the cover up to my chin.

She likes to exaggerate too much and I didn't want her to worry.

That was the last thing I wanted

I shook off my thoughts and fell into a dreamless sleep.

Hey guys! I just wanted to thank you for reading this Chapter it was kind of hard writing it just a little because I had to develop Dominic's feelings and stuff. But I did it! I really hoped you liked this one!
