Krystal's POV
A couple of days had passed since that day at the park and I haven't spoken to Damon since. I guess I was fine with that, but I definitely like him. I've showed him so much of who I really am, but that shouldn't have happened. I'm going to end up hurt again."Hey, Krystal, snap out of it!" Ally said, while waving her hand in front of my face. "God. What is with you today?"
We were currently sitting in the hallway on our free period.
"What? Sorry. I'm just not feeling like myself, is all." I replied, regaining my normal posture.
"So, like I was saying, there's this party tonight and Caleb's hosting it. Well, since it's a college party we'll have to opportunity to sleep with some hot guys. What do you say, you in?" She asked, checking her makeup in her phone camera.
"Um, yeah. I don't know, I need to work on my photography project tonight. It's due in a couple of weeks and I need to get a good grade on it." I replied, pulling out my phone to check Twitter.
"You're seriously going to skip out on fucking some hot guy for a shitty project?? You have got to be fucking kidding me. This is ridiculous, since when have you ditched a night of partying for homework? This isn't you."
"Well maybe I want to change Ally." I said, putting down my phone. "Maybe I don't like partying every week, and skipping out on schoolwork, or hanging out with you every day. Maybe I'd like to do something without you for once. Because you know what? I'm done. I don't need you to follow me around like a little puppy dog, and I sure as hell don't need to be your friend."
She just looked at me in shock as I grabbed my things and left to find somewhere else to go. Maybe I could find Damon, if he had a free period. I didn't have his number, so I couldn't text him and chances were he wouldn't check his email anytime soon. So, I set out to find him.

As I wandered through the halls in search of Damon, I decided to delete all of Allison's identity from my phone. After almost 5 minutes of wandering the halls, I finally bumped into Damon who happened to be by the photography room. But, I had literally bumped into him and knocked his books out of his hands, causing some of his photos to scatter across the floor.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to knock these out of your hands. I didn't see you there, but I was looking for you." I said, bending over to pick up the pictures.
"It's fine. Why were you looking for me?" He asked, looking at me as he picked up the remainder of his things.
"I sort of ended my friendship with Ally and I decided to come and find... You." I answered, blushing.
"O-oh... Me?"
"Yeah, you.. I can uh, just be real with you, you know?" I replied, handing him his photos. "Do you have some time for maybe a coffee or something? I'm on a free period right now and could really use a break."
"Uh yeah, let me just finish up what I'm doing here and we can go." He said, walking back into the photography room to grab his things.
Once he finished up there, we walked out to the parking lot and got into my car. The car ride was quiet and uncomfortable. I didn't want to turn on the radio in fear that he wouldn't like the music, but I also didn't want to strike up a conversation because I honestly didn't know what I would say. "Sooo.. I think I like you?" "I thought about what you said at the park that day, and decided to ditch Ally because you were right and I think I might like you maybe?"
About five minutes later we arrived at the small Starbucks shop downtown, I shut off the car and we both got out. Things were still a bit awkward, since neither of us were talking. After we both ordered drinks, we sat down in a small booth towards the back of the shop.
