Princess Serenity walked among the chaos of the war on Earth. Her sister Princess Hope walk beside her, looking around. "Serenity, look at the Earth. Jealousy really is an evil monster." Serenity looked around carefully, her blue eyes set to look for him.
Princess Hope floated away from Serenity, giving Serenity a chance to walk ahead. She let her footsteps lead her up a hill for which brought her so much shock. "Hope..." Serenity felt weak to the knees, her sister floated right to her side. "Why does jealousy have to be such an evil? Why does it exist?"
Serenity couldn't stand the sight, the sight of the war. All the bodies of the innocent people of the earth kingdom. She could fell fear start to build within her like a caged animal. "Serenity," Hope place her hand on her sister's shoulder, "don't worry, we will find him. I promise we will find him."
She heard her sister's words, the positive energy of Hope. "Hope, I know Endymion, I don't know what's happened to him. But something doesn't feel right. It really doesn't." She took a step forward, looking around the haunting sight. All the sudden, she had the urge to run. Her heart raced quickly and she listened to her instinct. "ENDYMION!!!!" Her voice screamed in worry, "MY LOVE?! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!"
Serenity stopped quickly, stopping at the sight of a pool of blood. Tears filled her eyes, she hadn't seen such a horrid sight before. The blood flowed towards her dress, staining it as she walked forward. She shook her head, trying to fight the tears. When all hope was thought to be lost, the star locket song rang through the silence.
She quickly followed the melody, trying to see through the blurred vision of her tears. She stopped to see him laying on the ground. Endymion was bleeding, holding the locket within his hand. "Endymion..." She ran to him, kneeling close to him. "Look at me my love, I'm here. I'm right here my love." She gently took his hand within her's. His eyes looked over at her, as he reached his free hand to touch her cheek.
Endymion's hand slide softly off Serenity's face, leaving a spot of blood against her cheek. "Serenity, you need to go," he coughed, "go back to the moon. I rather you be safe than someone finding you. Because if they find you...they will kill you."
Serenity placed her finger upon his lips to silence him from talking. "Endymion, please. I'm not leaving your side." She whispered softly to him. "You're hurt, I can't believe you're actually hurt."
She leaned closer to him, looking into his blue eyes that seemed transparent and fading fast. Her hand touched his heart, feeling it gently beat under her palm. She felt saddened by the destruction of his life. His life was fading fast and there wasn't a thing she could do about it. "Serenity, I truly love you...never forget that my love. I really...really do..." The light within his eyes faded into black quickly before her. She touched his cheek softly rubbing her thumb against him. Her eyes shed tears like never before.
Princess Hope ran to her sister's side, kneeling next to her. "Serenity, I promised mom I would get you back to the moon safely. It looks to me like Endymion's generals are coming this way." Hope touched her sister's shoulder looking into Serenity's eyes. "I'll give you time, but five minutes is all you've got. I will come back and get you."
Serenity watched her sister leave her side, she couldn't help but cry. The guilt of seeing the one she loved the most shot her like an arrow. An arrow of death she couldn't even take back. "Endymion, I'm so sorry, I'm sorry that this had to be like this." Her tears fell gently against her cheeks.
Serenity placed both of her hands on the ground, letting to crimson blood of her lover stain her hands. She took in a deep breath, looking around to see Endymion's sword lay next to him.
She picked up his blade and stood up next to his cold, lifeless body. Her thoughts rapidly tried to balance itself out. She looked at the blade within her hand, and made her choice. She was going to put herself out of her misery. Her hands adjusted themselves to where the blade was facing directly at her. "Serenity...don't do this." Her sister's voice rang towards her as she cried softly.
Serenity held the sword towards her looking at her sister. "I'm sorry Hope, but tonight I'm joining him in eternal sleep." Her words slipped as the blade drove right through her crashing against Endymion's chest. The blade hit the ground with a hard clash, looking up at her lover one final time. "I love you Endymion, I love you with all of my heart." She groaned in pain as her wound poured out with blood. "I promise my love, I promise we will be together forever." Serenity's body became lifeless as the melody of the star locket still played on softly in the sorrowing moment.
