Math class was never fun. Anastasia glanced over at Yaya, who was writing notes from what the teacher, who had only started today and hadn't bothered telling them her name, was saying. How was she so cute? Her Pastel purple hair pulled into pigtails, flowed past her waist. Bright green eyes blazing with so much hope stood out against her caramel skin. Her pale pink lips which pulled into a pout as she struggled to understand the work. Ana smiled remembering the outfit Yaya had worn today. The dusty grey jumper was too big or, she was just very tiny but either way, it almost covered her white mini shorts. They both had different personalities, how they were friends, no one knew. Ana sat in a plain long shirt and skinny jeans. Her messy jet black hair only spiralled up to her ribs. It would have been much longer if it wasn't curly. Her boring brown eyes had no effect on her peach skin. Snickers of laughter could be heard from the other side of the room; Tasha, Kathy, and Mayu were all laughing. They noticed the difference as well.

"Anastasia Laisne, ignore them! They don't know you like I do" Yaya's voice was so pure and innocent. It always caught anyone's attention.

"Call me Ana" She growled at her in a friendly way.

She felt sympathetic for the teacher; he tried to make a good first impression yet, hardly anyone acknowledged his existence. She scanned the class. Boys were throwing pieces of paper at the girls while they tried to do their makeup, two people were shouting at others trying to get them to shut up. She froze as her eyes met Alec's ocean green eyes. He smiled softly; she blushed and looked down at the desk.

Sir eventually gave up with their class and left. It wasn't very professional. She felt Yaya nudge her slightly as she stretched her arms out. "About time, you stopped working" She spoke as she playfully pinched her check

"It's time you stopped staring at Alec" Just as Ana was about to respond. A pencil hit her in the back of the head.
"She deserved that" Tasha's voice was sour as the others laughed around her. She spitefully glanced at Yaya "Yaya, you should hang around with us instead of that... that thing" She pointed at me and laughed, and then everybody else began laughing as well.

Suddenly Tasha screamed in pain. Ana could listen to that sound all day, every day. The person she hates most in pain. It was so satisfying, but it wasn't a scream of pain. The room had gone dark; all that could be heard was screeching sounds that the fire alarms made. She leaned forward laying her head on the table, covering her ears with her hands. It felt like she was there forever until somebody dragged her from her seat and carried her away. It was obvious that the person was running, did something happen? Negative thoughts flooded her head. Her eyes squeezed shut, refusing to be opened. The darkness was dragging her in deeper and deeper, and for once, she allowed it to do so.
