My Garden
My family is a garden
Ravishing from the outside
Complex on the inside
My father is the soil
He keeps us grounded
Tries to protect us from danger
And absorbs the hose's love and care
Only to distribute it evenly among
his budding roots
My mother is the hose
She makes us grow into divine flowers
Feeding irrepressible spouts of love and care
Without her
We would wither up and die
My brother is a weed.
Despite how many times you pick him
He always seems to come back
My sister is a Rose.
Beautiful but deadly
You get drawn in by her alluring beauty, but
You will get pricked by her selfish ways
I am the Sun
Shining my love down upon them
To assist them see the beauty
Within our tight-nit cycle
Even though I may be irritating
They need me in their lives to
Help them become a stunning full bloom
Fore my family is a garden
Ravishing from the outside,
Complex on the inside
If you wish to enter
This twisted trellis,
Come prepared for one growing adventure.
